I am willing to go on record as saying that forcing women to have sex is a bad thing. Although I do think it falls under the umbrella of "forcing people to do things is bad" which I thought I had been pretty clear about.

Are you against forcing people to do things?

Quite honestly, if you are against allowing people to remove car thieves from their vehicles I have to question if you really are against auto theft.

Sure it does; everyone dies. It is really just a matter of working out the details on how we get there.

If the person being removed is breaking a law, by all means, feel free to call a cop and have him removed.

I'm against forcing people to do some things. Such as forcing a man to pay child support even if the man wasn't interested in being a father.

Typical male chauvinist. By your logic, every man who accidentally impregnated a woman would be forced to have a child, since you think abortion should not be available. So not only should we have all these unwanted children, nobody should be forced to pay for them.

I think if the man is a father, he should pay support whether he wanted to be a father or not. Of course if he is incapable of supporting a child, finacially, physically or emotionally, and the mother is in a similar situation, then she can, if her conscience allows it, have a safe and legal abortion, and then the man is not forced to pay support.

Its nice to live in a country where people whose moral and ethical basis is different than our own have the legal right to follow thier conscious.

Of course a much better argument for you position is that the child has rights from the moment of conception and that the father is at that point liable for the safety and support of the child as any parent is.

It was my "business" of defining a zygote (and its arbitrarily named consequents) as a parasite.

As a parasite, the zygote does try to (nearly) kill its host because it has a greater genetic interest in itself (r = 1.0) than it does to its host or siblings (r = 0.5). Gestational diabetes is one of the effects that the parasite has upon its host, generating insulin antagonists to keep mom from metabolizing sugar thus making more available to "baby". The insulin antagonists are present in all pregnancies, and much like a cancer, can result in potentially fatal effects for host and parasite when things go awry.

I don't mean to belittle your expeiences with cancer, which I've not experienced myself but I have seen its ravages on loved ones, so I am sympathetic to your plight.

However, if we are talking technically here (are we?) cancers are not parasites, even though they are pernicious, they are more "you" than they are anything else including the symbiotic bacteria that live on and in you and outnumber your own cells by a factor of ten or more.

I'm against forcing a woman to become pregnant. If she gets pregnant because of her own actions or lack of self-control, I see no reason to punish the child with the death penalty.

I'm against rape. That doesn't mean I'm for administering capital punishment to the offspring of the criminal.

That is forcing a woman to have sex and forcing a woman to get pregnant if she does get pregnant. You said yourself that

You also said you're against women being forced to get pregnant. Make up your mind. Either the woman is asking for rape or she's not. (let me give you a hint: unless it's a consentual sex-game, the woman is NOT asking for it)
