That seems unrelated to the problem in this thread.
For me and my alt the XS4All connection has been working fine for 5 days now.

I have a brand new problem

which also does not seem related.

I am having this same exact problem, but I am not in Holland. I am in USA.

Every time I log in, everything is fine for 30 seconds to 1 minute, but then my avatar freezes (unable to walk--I can view, zoom, with Alt key, but cannot walk or fly). I can still see other people's chat for about 30 seconds, but then everything stops. I can still zoom in and view things, but I cannot walk, and all the other avatars are frozen as well.
If I teleport to another sim, everything is fine again for another 30 seconds to 1 minute. Then the same thing happens again (avatar freezes).
I can teleport again to another sim and it does the same thing (works for like 30 seconds, then freezes).

I checked my SecondLife.log file and I keep getting these messages over and over:

I watched the bandwidth bar in the top-right of the viewer, and when I first log in while everything is working correctly, the bandwidth is jumping around 500-600kbps. But when I stop being able to move (or my avatar just keeps walking thru walls and the floor), the bandwidth suddenly drops down to 20-30kbps.
The bar to the left of the bandwidth bar shows 0 packet loss.

I can only stay logged in by teleporting from sim to sim like every 60 seconds or so.

Exactly the same problem, also from the Netherlands. ISP: @home, doesn't think it has anything to do with it tho.

Holly, please contact me/us if you've made any progress!

Hi,

The original problem was solved almost a year ago. It was a problem of the internetrouting between the ISP of LL and about half of Europe (The Netherlands especially).

When you freeze, most of the times it is the local internet connection which fails.

Regards,
Marcoh
