Deformed face

It is me again and yes, I seem to have a new bug again too.
My face is deformed! It looks like a twitch in the left eye or even like someone who has had a stroke. It is scary to look at. I don't think I can post pictures here, but it is not a pretty sight anyway. I don't dare to go out this way and I have put a box on my head like newbies do, just to hide it.

I have tried relogging, I have tried to load another shape. I have tried edit appearance mode. I can change the shape but it always has the same deformation. No I have not cleared my cache. And I don't have to: Others see me the same way. A guy IMmed me because he thought I was winking at him :(

No I was not winking, I have been deformed! Help! Anybody else has this problem? Anyone knows a solution?

Clear your cache. Yeah, you think you don't have to do it, do it anyway. ;)

OK then, I have cleared my cache.

The problem persists.

Now what?

Turn off vertex shaders, and see if that helps

Saved!

OK, I have managed to save myself.

It turns out I was stuck in some animation I did not start on purpose. Maybe it was a wink gesture? Gestures sometimes trigger by themselves these days it seems.

Anyway, my Mystitool was able to detect and stop this animation and now I am myself again.

Good deal, glad you got it figured out :). For future reference, the reason I said to clear your cache (even though in this case it didn't help) is that I got from your post that you were under the impression that if others see the problem with your av also that for some reason it wouldn't help. This is not the case. In many cases of cache problems others around will also see things such as corrupt textures (sometimes show up as black, rainbow blotches or missing) or shape, etc... and sometimes they will see the problem and you won't.

Anyways.. at least now all the guys won't think you're trying to hit on them ;). lol!

Mystitool is just too awesome as well!
