A lot of you have quite a few misconceptions about the site, and even though it tickles my funny bone to listen to you huffing and puffing and pontificating on a subject you quite obviously know little to nothing on, I'm going to try and explain a few things to you...so please, sit down. And some of you, remember to remove that pesky stick lodged firmly up your bottom before you do...you know who you are!

Suicidegirls.com isn't a 'porn site'. It's a lifestyle brand with a very tight-knit community, that happens to feature photographs of beautiful, stylish counter-culture women in various stages of undress. We aren't porn stars so much as we are figureheads of this movement. Female members number just as many, if not more, than males; and a lot of those girls are straight. For most people I know, the naked girls were just a draw to the site. Most pay their memberships to be a part of the community. Many girls were members first.

I met my fiance through the site, at a member gathering. When I moved to Toronto, I had no friends, until I went to one of the many SGTO member events. Now, my entire friends base is these people. We go to karaoke every Monday, and we've gone out for sushi or to the Playdium. We don't lurk around dirty movie theatres or have naked hot tub parties. Being open about normal, healthy sexuality doesn't make us sexual deviants. And we aren't all 'sex addicts'.

Thank you for clearing that up, though there are many people in the world who equate nudity with porn (where I come from, if you are NEKKID... you're generally doing something that, if photographed or videotaped, could be considered porn but being NAKED = nude). As I said before, your site just immediately brought to mind a tattoed, pierced version of Playboy without the airbrushing.

I hope the forums don't turn you off to the general population of SL - there is a low percentage of the SL population who post here.
