As for where I said "me and others" - I didn't say "me and all others." There are others who take offense at it and find it intimidating. I really don't think you can make a case that there aren't.

I think they are permitted de facto. Like the "do not take your horse into the hotel room" kind of laws that are on the books, but not enforced.

The heart of my contention is that PG is not defined for the forums. Also PG is not universally understood. Without a definition it is meaningless.

In another thread Fade brought up how what is considered PG in Scandanavia would get a broadcaster a jail sentence in the U.S. I interpret the "PG" label to allow fuck. You think it doesn't. The Lindens aren't saying anything, and they are the final arbiter.

That's a certain person head to toe though. She allows herself to get hurt over and over and over. She seeks it out.

The usual explanation for that kind of psychology is that some people enjoy being hurt because it allows them to complain about it and seek sympathy. It makes them always right because *they* are the ones that are "hard done by," and fighting against authority. It also gives them a permanently ready excuse for not achieving the things they want to achieve (because everything is against them as evidenced by this... *present list* ... long list of things that are against them).

They are the righteous persecuted warriors against oppression!

I do think the kind of person that finds enjoyment in attacking these kinds of people however are significantly sadder cases.

I should specifically say that I am not talking about Siggy here since I am following his post, but there are some people that really go out of their way to "poke the bear" in this regard and that's pretty sick. It's not necessary anyway, this kind of "bear" will roar night and day regardless of poking or not poking.

And no - I don't think I realize that, because it's bollocks.. you have no way of knowing if and when I've been given warnings, and it's against the TOS for me to declare it... I simply don't do the drama drama thing about it.

He wasn't attacking me with it, Siggy. It's not the words per se, of course not. That was a joke. It is being attacked with them, with sexual language as well, from a man you don't know who clearly doesn't like you or your ideas and will say so in a way that will very likely shut you up.

I first said that a month or two ago, because I knew I couldn't respond to him even with my regular thoughts here.

Now as you see in this thread I have - I have told him he's a big bully and I forget what all else.

I wanted him to go over there so I could say those things, because here he can say what he wants, using all kinds of colorful language, but I can't, even without the colorful language.

However, he wouldn't, and I have said them now, here, and if they want to punish me for it, I don't care. Let everyone be witness to it.

That doesn't make any sense. Not at all. You're either not intimidated by him at all, and only said that to garner sympathy and pity, or you enjoy being intimidated and, as you see it, sexually harrassed.
