Angela I've just recently had a similar problem and I know EXACTLY who it is who you are talking about. Sorry you had the same problem. Right about now the only thing we can do is "word of mouth".

Is there really a market for babies? If so, what 'features' do people want? I'm looking for an artificial life project for my students - currently working on Tribbles! - and something like this would be interesting:

Baby develops, and grows?
Baby can be talked to and give appropriate (non-verbal) responses?
etc.

Just a thought......
Is your prim baby really yours in the first place?
(i.e see the prim baby "creator" info on the objects tab)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't that be like an RL test tube baby with
someone else's genes and such?

but, Montez asks for the parents shape, so it seems to me by that he is making the baby look like the parents and doing his best to make the baby resemble the parents, as in a role of delivering as opposed to creating. so i think his service is the closest to the birthing process and genetic proliferation that is possible in the SL model

I went to the family choice place ran by Montez King and Hots Skye, first of all getting to answer Ims is impossible. I finally got my baby, and she kept saying Aunt Hots name. He told me he had made her for his sister, ok then why did he give her to me, maybe cause he didn't have mine ready? So I send her back to get her fixed, next day I IM him to find out when I can get her back, NO RESPONSE! Later I IM him again still NO RESPONSE! I then contact Hots who tells me he's busy with clients. So I go to the clinic and he's not even there. Look I know its just a game and not a real baby but its rude to blow people off, specially who paid you for something to be done. I would never treat clients like that game or in rl. If I do have another kid in game I won't be going back there. If they can't handle all the clients they get maybe then need to get some help or stop scheduling so many people. Maybe I'm making something out of nothing but it just really upset me.

Is best to name the names soo people know who not to go to cause thats just messed up and Silver its been done to alot of people and I think its just wrong soo you do your name calling LOL people need to know who NOT to go to when they have babies

I want people to know who I'm talking about thats the way it goes. Do what your suppose to and no one will complain about you. Just like rl, if you get bad service, you let people know.

Most of the time, I'm a wise and non-verbal person, but this time, and knowing full well the fools that will poke fun and not consider anything said on a serious note, I must speak.

While many people laugh and cajol over the original post in this thread, I find it refreshing. You see, it's nice to see that there are some people that actually enjoy "playing" in Second Life. Of course, their idea of "playing" and those that are constantly acting like jackasses, idea of "playing" are different. Being different though is a silly reason to make fun of someone. For each of us here in Second Life are different. We have different names, different looks, different reasons for being a part of the Second Life community.

While it makes many people roll their eyes and laugh, I find it refreshing that there are those that enjoy the immersion of their Second Life roles. While they may have extolled about their immersion a bit much, none the less, they have a real grievance with this "service".

How many people would laugh and try to make someone feel a fool if they were here complaining about the $L Exchange? If they were here saying that they put in $50 USD and got nothing back from LL, and to make it even worse, when they approached LL with this issue, all that LL did was ignore them, then I'm sure many of you that were laughing at this thread, would quickly call for an explaination from LL.

Why is it then that when someone complains about a service in Second Life, they are met with cat calls and laughter? The original thread author is doing exactly what LL has hoped we, the community, would do; she is taking this "service provider" to the Forums and letting everyone here know of the "service providers" non-help, in hopes of course that the community would bring pressure to this "service provider".

While many of you consider this funny, I find it sad, that someone, who on their own free will, started a business, and now seems to be only good at taking someone's money; instead of providing the services they promised. If we, the Community of Second Life, are ever expected to be considered a serious entity, then we should join with the thread author, and cry out against the person that has NOT provided the service in question. This is how we, the Community of Second Life, are expected to "police" ourselves from LL.

Instead of laughing and cat calling and making fools of ourselves, I would hope that the Community of Second Life, would finally grow up and start bringing pressure to those people in-world that continue to fail to provide promised services. In doing so, we all may find that LL begins to provide more ways for the Community of Second Life to police themselves in-world.

Yes, now I am finished here, and you can, without giving serious thought to what I've brought forth, start acting like the fools you have through-out this thread. I for one though, hereby promise NOT to endorse or use the this "service provider" for anything they might be selling, whether it be a virtual baby or a virtual home. It's time for us, the Community of Second Life, to take a more serious tone with those that fail again and again to provide what they have promised to provide in-world.
