let me remind you all that SecondLife is many things to many people.. for many of us it is not a game, but a world.. and as far as the whole, making fun of people for having prim babies in SL.. screw you people.. grow up, who cares what item the person was screwed on, the fact is, people are getting ripped off.. get your heads out of your asses!

Ok, I apologize for my mild humor. I will refrain from making any more comments. Well, just one more rejected baby name: 3. Baby (no copy) (no transfer) How about: I was changing my baby, and it flew into the other sim! ![]() |

Wait, so you left work early to go to an ultrasound appointment in a VIDEO GAME? You're trying to have a baby in a VIDEO GAME? You're willing to pay 15 dollars for a baby in a VIDEO GAME? What the hell? Am I missing something vitally important? To me it just sounds like someone is nuts. Simon, do you own a boner in SL? Have you ever left work early to have pixel sex in a VIDEO GAME? and how much did you pay for your boner in a VIDEO GAME? |

That is why you can actually insult someone by saying "I pity you", but don't get the same effect if you say, "I have compassion for you". when has anyone in the history of time ever said "I have compassion for you"? I think you are the 1st gratz! _____________________

Wait, so you left work early to go to an ultrasound appointment in a VIDEO GAME? This sounds like eminently sensible behaviour to me. VIDEO GAME or work? Hmm, let me think. |

I have an idea: How about LL setting up up a version of the BBB for SL? Kinda something along the lines of Ebays feedback forum for sellers.....

Ok, for all the bashing and sympathy going on in this thread, is ANYone going to recommend a new service for the people with these bad experiences to go to or what? Fine, the people who did this to them suck and are thieve, etc, etc. But is anyone going to offer an ALTERNATIVE? Anyone at all? Maybe turn this thread into something, oh say...PRODUCTIVE?
Am I the only one viewing this thread who wants to see the OP end up happy? |

I can't believe I read the whole thing!
All I can say about the original post is: If you want to have a baby, I guess SOMEBODY has to get f**cked! Oh! And the critical question in this thread was never answered: "Why did the prim baby cross the road?" I think it was because it was stapled to the chicken. I guess that we had better get PETA involved. Stapling chickens is cruel and could emotionally scar someone. |

Well I admit my first thought was to tell my favorite animator that she was missing a market niche by not making a "delivery" table complete with squatting, grunting, puking, screaming, ... oh and rezzing a blood soaked placenta..... She was not amused... but I've notice that women who have never given birth (and guys too) are often grossed out about the placenta part of a birthing conversation. I will refrain from telling my best real-life placenta story here in the interests of good taste. At least I don't expect skins with post-pregnancy stretchmarks and 15 lbs of stubborn baby fat to become popular anytime soon. ![]() First I would like to say I am not laughing at the OP. In fact I do sympathize with her having been all hyped up only to be so highly dissappointed and apparently ripped off to boot. But.... after reading this post I couldn't help but laugh having been through childbirth myself in RL and knowing the truth of the words. It's as funny as watching the intro to an old tv show, Quincy, ME where the interns pass out as soon as the sound of the saw can be heard. I know... that is kind of a weird comparision but that is just how my train of thought happen to run at that moment. ![]() |

Just wondering: Are there birthing animations out there? Because if people are -that- into this sorta thing... that'd be tempting to make.... There are labor beds with a labor poseball and a partner one. The labor one is a stirrups-up pose and the partner one is one holding her hand and soothing her. It's rather sweet, actually. A true Anim, though, instead of a poseball, would be nice for those who want to go with something less traditional. I know that furries and some other less traditional forms and styles might like something more animalistic, and the ability to have that emergency birth on the couch would be good. I was also told by someone who used to play Sociolotron that an abortion process animation would appeal to them. A bit controversial but whatever your flavor... |

Funny related story here. When I was partners with Clair we went and checked out all kinds of animations and bought a bunch. One was a table obviously for an ob/gyn office. World to the wise do not smoke your prim ciggies when trying these things out. I think she still has a scar and her jeans still don't fit right LOL. Sorry Clair! roflmao.

But Clio! How can I make sure the abortion anim works if we don't practice it? *mutters* My helpers are only willing to help with it's the bondage anims...
Imagine all the SL unwanted babies! If there's a market... I'll make it I might make and sell alternate birthing positions too... that sounds interesting... |

...I am not sure if I am disgusted, horrified, or hugely, hugely amused.
I choose D). (And if anyone wants to get on my case for it - I've had multiple miscarriages, one of which could have easily cost me my life - so I've got a leeeettle less patience for this bewailing the loss of prims as though it's an honest-to-goddess baby. Seriously. Perspective.) |

I know that furries and some other less traditional forms and styles might like something more animalistic, and the ability to have that emergency birth on the couch would be good. Something more true to life would have the woman's hand gripping the man firmly between the legs while he screamed in pain and tried to run. |
