Speaking of which, I recall a post of Torley's with a picture of "How To Win Friends And Influence People" or some such similar book. Can anyone locate that post? I don't remember where I put the post, but I believe it was actually Donald Trump's How to Get Rich. Either that or Norman Vincent Peale's The Power of Positive Thinking. _____________________

Notice that line? Higher standards than exist for Mentors, Teachers and Live Help. That would include forum warnings and suspensions, wouldn't it?

Yes it would. Which lets me out, on account of I have one warning for saying the same thing back to a person she just said to me, and Ulrika, as well, I believe. And god knows who all else.

I think I figured out why I like Ulrika so much.
She reminds me of Durandal. I do not know why this is so. Yet, reading Ulrika's posts briefly displaces my perceptions of time and makes me feel like a little kid again, tromping about on the moons of Lh'owon. </geekout> _____________________

Deadline for submissions (for the 1st round) is Jan. 18 as per what Jeska said here. Just getting revved up right now so a clearer picture has yet to emerge. She reminds me of Durandal. Prop 830: Linden Employee Communications Standards --- Linden employees must not contradict themselves or other Linden employees. Linden employees may not cite as support or explanation an ambiguous or contradictory passage from a Linden document, or cite a passage which is contradicted elsewhere in Linden produced statements. Linden staff member's statements must be clear, concise, comprehensive, coherent, and contradiction-free. Linden employees responding to a question will answer the question that was actually asked, not just one that has a few words in common with the question asked. And there is Robin Linden's post suggesting that we can never trust any statement they make We do try to do what seems right and best, and not to hide behind policies or rules. I'd say that's official policy but there would be some kind of self-referential contradiction involved. Since we don't get to see people's rap sheets they can say and do whatever they please and we won't have any way to prove anything about it. _____________________
