From: Drift Monde I am working with the owner of the Crow Bar to see if we can do a full setup on Sat evening for live music. This will be an extension of the live music that we have on Fri night and will allow more time for all those that want to come down and participate or just have fun. So please let me know if you are interested in performing on Sat night. If someone wants to have an open mic jazz jam session and can put up with the weird keys I sing in, I'm in

From: milady Guillaume Issue 1 for consideration at a roundtable....Is SLCC community based? If so, how can it best serve the community?
Issue 2 for consideration at a roundtable....What form can a community based poll take for future placement of an SLCC gathering such as this one in SF?
Issue 3 for consideration at a roundtable....Once the next location is decided, how can we outside of the "group" offer our help for the next community convention? Issue 4 All the whiney ass children boo hoo ing cuz they were'n't asked, Getting off their lazy asses and organizing their own convention where ever hell the want to and thy can listen to pretty much the same group of whiners scream at them for awhile!

as soon as i have my finances in order, i'll be signing up as well.. hopefully bringing one "guest" with me. ("guest" = non-SLer.. yet ) side note: all other threads concerning SLCC 06 are located in a group forum. this thread is being left in General as a matter of visibility to the community

I do apologize for posting so much about the convention to all those that are opposed to the location of the convention. but i am very excited about the convention and would like to see as many people come to the convention that possibly can.

I'll be there! Fort Mason is just as far from my place as it is to the Lab (10 minute walk, heh). Just promise not to bring any *real* bugs for me to squish!

Is there a single page somewhere that will give me the details of the SLCC. Al lthis chat is fine, but all I really need to see are Dates, Times, Locations, Agendas, special events, location maps, recommended hotels, and simple registration (still havent found that even I see it mentioned a lot) and things useful like that. Why in the world doesnt something as big as this actually have a page on the website that gives this information to everyone, quickly and easily? It doesnt make sense to have to dig thru gobs of forum vomit, when an event like this oughta be hyped on the front cover.
Cmon LL, you have all those programmers there! Get this on your website!
OK, now that Ive made an ass of myself, Im sure someone is gonna point out an obvious link that I've missed. OK go ahead... I can take it... I'm just tired of forum wading in my hip boots...
