I don't understand it - whether I am at work or home, behind a firewall or not, I can't get the page to open to download Rokuro. Does anyone have an idea what is up with this? Picture attached.... thank you.

Mystikal Faddoul,Thank you for getting interested in my tool.

My site is using the IP address assigned newly. Therefore, it may be that the Internet provider which you use is carrying out the filter of my site.
The IP address of kanae.net is 219.94.128.193.
How about asking the provider whom you use?

I just wanted to let you know about 1 special case where 64 control points are needed: We need it to texture sculpties.

Natalia Zelmanov, Thank you for using ROKURO.

I am sorry that I did not reply to you sooner.

Since I got to know that Scrupted Prim had only a control point of 33x33, I changed the specification of ROKURO.
However, 65 control points may be effective.
Therefore, I left ROKURO Version 0.9.
If you understand this problem, I would like to add 65 control points to new ROKURO.

Yuzuru, thank you so much :)

The 65 control points is only needed for using UVMapper or Wings to texture sculpties. This is because Hypatia Callisto's UV Map is available only in 65 control points (/8/20/183764/7.html#post1521794). Lol sculptie tools are changing so fast, its hard to keep track of the different versions! :P

Version 0.9 works great for that already, so pls dont worry about having to do any extra work.

Thank you very much for creating all these wonderful tools :)

I think I've run into a bug in Tokoroten

What happened was that selected all the points in the shape I was working on and tried to use the Equal Distance command. Everything I tried to do after that (starting with Undo) resulted in an error similar to the below image (that particular one appeared when I closed it).

After restarting, the same actions produced an "Out of Memory" Error.

A third restart seems to have cleared the problem at the moment.

Edit to add: It only seems to be a problem when I'm working with 32 points.

Elle Pollack ,Thank you for informing the bug of TOKOROTEN.

I updated TOKOROTEN to 1.03.

http://kanae.net/secondlife/tokoroten.html

When all the control points are chosen, if regular intervals are performed, it will change into a circle focusing on the center of gravity.

I am not satisfied with the alignment function of TOKOROTEN.

Therefore, I am going to update TOKOROTEN within a few days once again.

The TGA file output of TOKOROTEN 1.03 had fault.
TOKOROTEN 1.04 has added the following function.
-1x1 Grid
-Symmetrical edit

1.03 should cancel and should use 1.04.

Yuzuru, the link on your page points to 1.03 still. Manually changing the url to http://kanae.net/secondlife/tokoroten104.zip works fine however, so the file is there.

I've just tried it using Wine on Linux, and it seems to work perfectly, just like Rokuro does. Thanks for your excellent work!

I corrected the link of TOKOROTEN1.04. And I add your comment about Wine. Thank you!

I gotta congratulate this tool. I was able to make a sculpted prim with not a lot of lumpiness when it uploaded. It still had lumpy meshing but it was still better then the results i got from wings3d.

I updated ROKURO

I updated ROKURO to 1.01.

The changed part is as follows.
-The 1x1 Grid functionality was added.
-The option saved in a BMP file format was added.
-The fault of the rendering of Rotate 180 Column type was corrected.

Please Download from

http://kanae.net/secondlife/

Because there is not sufficient donation to maintain a site, I worry about whether public presentation is continued. I may have to stop releasing ROKURO and TOKOROTEN as free software in the near future. I am thankful to people who donated for ROKURO and TOKOROTEN, however I want me to also understand my condition.

Thanks. This tool has been a blessing for me since it's easy to use. I've made some nice stuff out of it. So much easier to learn then blender, just a bit limited. It does what is asked for though. :) So far it's helped me make prim clothing, mushrooms, a water valve for a hot tub, a stalag for the bottom of a floating island, and some things i would rather keep secret. :P

Thank you, FD Spark, Yiffy Yaffle.

The people who downloaded recently have few people who donate. I regret this.
I care about the number of those who donate rather than the contributory amount of money.
I am going to judge after looking at a situation for two to three weeks.

You have my support whatever you decide to do but I do think goods and services in SL are woefully underpriced at this point. I would charge for the product at a price that allows you to the time to provide support.

The inworld sculpty tool on SLexchange is selling for $L5000.

I don't buy things that cost hat much. Sure i make loads of linden but i wouldn't spend that much on any product. :p Unless it's land or a mansion...

Dear Yuzuru,
You did a GREAT job designing these tools, and the people here have beta tested the product. Now is the time to sell it inworld and on slexchange. Take it off here now!

The 5000 price tag is high because that device is the only one of its kind. Your device is competition. Many people don't read the forums and don't know about your product, but people want easy ways to create sculpties.

Please put your items on the market and charge a reasonable price, advertise a little - and watch what happens!!! They will buy yours over the competitions!

I Disagree. Not all the people here have money to toss around. If the other guy wants to sell his creation for L$5k, let him. He will quickly price himself out of the market.
Rokuro is the best, but you must remember that the best advertising is this right here.

$5K Linden is about $20 USD give or take.

For such a powerful and easy to use tool, that hardly seems excessively overpriced.

Such a small portion of SL residents actually read the forums, I would hesitate to call the forums a very effective form of advertising.

Yuzuru, you deserve to be compensated for your hard work creating such wonderful tools. Put your tools on the market and get paid, because if you rely solely on contributions, you're going to have a hard time getting the SL cheapskates who love using your tools but don't think they should have to pay you anything for it to anty up.

Still most people in SL are on free accounts, and not everyone had 5k to spare. I do however but i still wouldn't pay that much for anything in SL. 1.5k is tops for any purchases i make. Most SL creations are just prims, scripts and textures, and I'm a excellent builder so i don't see spending that much. if anything, this product should drastically undercut that price and get more business. A lower price means more purchases. This could bring in the same amount of money or even more. For $20 you could buy quite a lot of things. But then again, I'm one of the many who ripped a torrent of Poser/photoshop just for simple second life needs. I don't even use Poser for anything but BVH files.. Kinda a waste of money if i had bought it. Thats why tools like this exist anyway. So we don't have to go out and buy or Pirate Maya and suffer with learning how to use it.
