The Web server of kanae.net is operating.

URL is also right. I checked that it was downloadable. There is no problem also in the log of Web server. Many people have downloaded ROKURO. Please try once again.

I made another program named "TOKOROTEN".
06-07-2007 09:38
I made another program that makes tga file for Sculpted Prim. The name of the program is TOKOROTEN(extruder) for win32. This Program makes Sculpted Prim texture .tga file of the pushed-out object. TOKOROTEN is Japanese jelly extruded to thin strips. An object will be pushed out if the form of the hole which you push out is made. You can twist or round an object. You can download From http://kanae.net/secondlife/tokoroten.htmlI am thankful to you who donated to ROKURO.

From: Aleri Darkes Tried out ROKURO to make some simple sculptie prims. Made my shape and saved as TGA, then uploaded into SL. When i uploaded the preview of it showed the correct texture, but once it was in my inventory it shows nothing. When i tried to apply to a sculptie it shows no texture and is just grey. Has anyone else had this problem or know what i am doing wrong? I havent worked with 3D modeling before so im lost hehe. Will try to attach what i made in ROKURO sounds like it just hasn't uploaded give it few more minanutes sometimes lag does this.

Yuzuro:
Thank you so much!!! I made a notecard with links to this thread and to your donation center and website, which I've been passing along to all of my builder friends. These tools are so easy to use and elegant that they're now up there with the PrimFinder as one of my all-time favorite building tools.
Thankyouthankyouthankyou!!!
One question, though... is there any way to delete vertex points or merge them? I found I had some left over after I made my object, so kind of "hid" them inside at the bottom.

All I wanted was something easy to play around with. These programs more then delivered on that. Thank you so much. Lindens, you may want to consider stickying this, this is one of the best, easiest programs out there for beginners. Once again, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

I updated ROKURO to 1.0 for win32.
06-19-2007 02:17
The number of control points and the size of the pictorial image to output were changed. Although the number is becoming fewer from before, this is because it turned out by the specification of Scrupted Prims that it is unnecessary. Moreover, the algorithm which outputs a TGA file was changed. ROKURO can be outputted more correctly. And the object which half-rotates is outputted more correctly. I am going to continue continue an enhancement for this functionality. The functionality to which the control point by a keyboard is moved was added. You can download from http://kanae.net/secondlife/I thank your advice, Bleu Drake. Thank you!

Seagel Neville, Because I change the development environment of MacOSX,I plan to carry out a development of the Mac version after a development of the Win32 version settles down.

I hope I'm explaining this right
06-21-2007 12:07
A bump from what I can tell, is any post that puts a thread back into the forefront, rather then getting buried in the multitude of other threads. By posting often to this thread, is gets more attention, because it may have the newest post. And getting more people to post to it, also means it gets attention because of the number of posts. Get the number up high enough, and maybe the Lindens will look at it and sticky it like this should be. To Sticky, means it then goes to the top of the list permanently because is is vital, informative, or extremely helpful to everyone. If my explanation is incorrect, someone please correct me.
Note to any Lindens that might read this: STICKY PLEASE! This is probably the simplest program I've seen for getting your feet wet in making scuplties.
Thanks for your great work Yuzuru!

Importing Rokuro BMPs into Wings3D for Mac
06-25-2007 01:38
I saw a previous post that was explaining how to get the Rokuro TGA files, convert to BMP and then import into Wings3D for further editing. But since I'm running this on a Mac, it doesn't have an option for saving in the TGA file format. I tried importing the Rokuro BMP straight into Wings3D but I keep getting an error message.
Has anyone tried to import Rokuro files into Wings for a Mac? I'm not sure if i'm the only one getting an error like this.
Thanks

I have a feature request. Can you make Rokuro do extrusions as well? That is, I draw something in 2D (eg, a circle) and Rokuro extrudes it into a 3D shape (a cylinder).

Yuzuru, thank you very much for ROKURO and TOKOROTEN! Without these tools, I think there would be far fewer sculpties in SL right now I just wanted to let you know about 1 special case where 64 control points are needed: We need it to texture sculpties. Specifically, one of the best "free" ways for texturing sculpties is to preview textures in Wings 3D while editing the texture in Photoshop (or another program). This process depends on the UVMapper spheres from Hypatia Callisto, which is for a 64 by 63 sphere. Theres a lot of steps involved: http://slnatalia.blogspot.com/2007/06/day-279-sculpted-prims-tutorial-part-4.htmlROKURO Version 0.9 (with 64 control points) worked great with Wings 3D in creating sculpties that we can texture. Unfortunately, ROKURO Version 1.0 creates sculpties with a different number of control points. Fortuntately, we can still get ROKURO Version 0.9 here: http://www.kanae.net/secondlife/rokuro09/index.html. Would you mind keeping ROKURO Version 0.9 around until we can figure out better ways to create textures for sculpties? Thank you again for your wonderful work!
