LOL! Now that made my day.

How did LL come with the name "Ursula" anyway? In Latin it means "big female bear," apparently. When reading this definition, did a dyslexic Linden think it meant "big female BARE"?

I am *awfully* tempted to put the 'no pose balls' rule to the test, as well as forcing them to define what a private residence is. My residence is a treehouse and it is not uncommon for someone to just wander around my plot thinking it is a park or something.

If I were to be banished anywhere, it would be to a PG sim ... no mature content on my parcel at all. However the treehouse has an outdoor hottub that never gets used. The tub has *gasp* 2 poseballs. Nothing inherently naughty about them, but from the poses they are obviously meant for a couple.

If that place were to be declared 'adult' they may as well just declare 100% of all the mature regions above their 'adult public location' bar.

I've been wondering how LL would rule on a lap dancing club which is still "overtly sexual" but does not involve nudity (or necessarily anatomical extremes).

An early Blondin post (or was it a brownbag?) somewhere mentioned 'no poseballs'. Just 'no poseballs' -- it did not specify that the ruling was modifiable by what type of animations it had. So if we were to take that literally they would need to check every single chair in SL.

This is where definitions get muddled, I've read newspaper television listings that say a film or show "Contains mature content, drug taking, violence, nudity and sex scenes".

This is why I'm baffled that a strip club is considered extreme content that needs to move to another continent, it's mature.

Melody mis quoted the brown bag here in this thread which i corrected and then she went on and made a wrong post on slx there is no poseball rule as she stated there was.

Its not so surprising when people draw their own conclusions instead of sticking to facts as she didn't do and then this mis information spreads like wildfire.

Exactly my point. If a lap dancing club is deemed "adult" then we are in the odd situation that a provocative dance whilst fully clothed is "adult" whilst full frontal nudity (e.g. on a nudist beach) is not "adult".
