Whats the point of asking peoples ages here and not telling your own? Now almost everybody knows that HoneyBear is about 46 to 55 ( lame joke of yourself ) and wants to be a blonde young super model in SL


I am 22 and I would hate to see my mother acting like this

What if you mother was exactly as she is in every way except she looked like a blond young supermodel?

What if it was a hundred years from now and you and your mom were both in heaven and you could each choose your own bodies - would it be ok for her to go with the young blond super model look then? If you had an aged body when you died would you choose a younger one for your afterlife?

Those of us that are in her age range would hate to see our children being so obnoxious.

41 here, and very surprised. I would never have guessed that at east out of the forum readers, only 1/3 would be <35. Thanks HoneyBear for this poll, I really loved seeing the results.

As for little sisters over 70, and mums acting like 20 year old supermodels, isn't that what makes SL this great? For once, I admire that someone aged 70 is so computer savvy, but even more important is that they succeed in making SL their world, their imagination. Not being able to see that, shows a shallow mind.

Even more important, we see here that age really does not matter that much. Take a young girl like Claire, and take the average age of over 40. At no given moment did I ever feel uncomfortable chatting to Claire because I noticed a big difference in interests because of age gaps. I would say stronger, I have seen people from the youngest group acting more mature then people who are way older in real life

Somewhat related to this post ... LL publishes the above demographic data that is kinda interesting but I've always questioned how accurate the info is. I think you're supposed to accurately give a rl DOB and gender on signup which is totally useful marketing information for LL, but unless they are using age verified data (which I doubt) I think many people are wary about giving too much personal info to companies especially if CC data is on file too.

Yes, comments like "Paul McCartney was in a band before Wings?!?!?" kinda gives age away. *grins*
