I'm amused at all the votes, without comment.

Of course, I likewise did not comment. Just having to click the correct button was traumatizing enough ;)

my guess is there will be far more in the over 35 range than under. in my experience in world, i encounter most folks who are over 40 rather than younger....tho we all look REALLLLLY good. hehe

But majority of residents here are "young fogies" - 45 going on 105.
See ya!

LOL...Great first post.

Nobody "needs" it....there was a discussion in another thread about age and it just got me curious.

Don't like it...don't answer.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

20, but I usually say 24. For some reason, a LOT less people turn and walk away at the four year difference.

I voted and then didn't post because I really don't know how old the average resident is. I was hoping that someone would know, and post the answer, because I'd be interested to know. If your question is really "How old are you?" then it's simple: I'm 45.

It's not polite to ask a womans age, you know....I'll admit that I'm 34....I actually do try to at least look my age in SL, and I will have to admit that I may have fibbed once or twice about my age before....younger of course. ;)

I think most of sl is going to be late 20s-30s on a hunch

It's the generations that grew up with technology... to the point some of us interact better digitally than in person

I've been 25 for more years than it took me to get to 25 in the first place

I didn't vote because I'm not good at judging people's ages. I do, however, tend to run into the younger end of the spectrum (including a few that seem underage). And I myself am 25. No one can ever guess my real age in RL, they guess way too low. In world, they usually guess correctly or too high. Figure that one out.

I took the voting as us picking our own age range

although the post can be a little confusing hehe

Maybe but not necessarily. Back to my IRC Gorean group I keep referring to - the vast majority of us were early-mid 40's....12 years ago. Do the math. ;)

Many of us were around when the personal computer was introduced (WOW! A computer that can be in your HOME?!?!). I taught adult ed. computer classes at a Jr. College during DOS days and with one 5 1/4 floppy disk drive (and walked 100 miles home from school uphill in snow :p).

Anyway, some of our generation got into BBS'es, MUDS, MUCKS, MOOs and of course IRC; then that turned into Prodigy/AOL and later MSN and Yahoo chat groups. Perhaps it's a segment of our generation that were either computer geeks or enjoyed computer chat/roleplay, but I run into a LOT of people in SL and IRC in their 40's-50's. The eldest person I have spoken with on SL said he was 75 and a retired psychologist.
