I'm proud to have survived 61 years so far. Smoother skin and better eyesight are pretty much the only things I miss about being young. I have some really great friends of all ages, including younger than my kids, and no matter how cool people are they are almost always able to get more cool as they get older.

It's funny, I didn't mind doing this poll at all, even though it shows names, whereas if someone asks my age inworld (unless it's someone I have known for a long while) I really resent it.

My dad is 22 years older than me and he can run circles around me on a comp. He's self taught too...between college and law school my brother moved back home for a bit and brought his computer, my dad played around with it a little bit, and when bro moved back out, dad bought his own and has upgraded steadily ever since.

I love these results. Some kid, age 18, tried to insult me after I banned her from our sim by trying to tell me what a loser I was for falling in love with (my SL wife and will be my RL wife in two weeks) a woman in a "kid's game."

I couldn't stop LOLing for a few days! The ignorance of youth....

BTW, 36 here and wife is 38.

The youth of today forget that it was we and those prior to us who forged the computer age they now take for granted. None of them know about the pleasures of multi-phone line BBSes and text based computer games. Funny, how they think they own technology when it has been a part of my life since I played Pong.

I'll be 41 in two weeks...wooo hooo.....I have no isues with age....I figure I earned it....and noone ever believes I'm as old as I am.

It seems most of the folks I meet in SL are my age or older...which I find really interesting.
