Women (and men) who Run with Wolves

Surely, women (and men) who Run with Wolves are better than women (and men) who Run with Scissors.

A serious answer then. Or is it? It *is* Friday, and I haven't noticed a real Friday thread yet; although I am nearly done at work, and won't be around to point out the probable misunderstandings and over-emotional responses to my answer.

So why do I post as I do?

1. To make the dumb ones feel wanted and part of the great community of the SL Forums
2. To give the dumb ones the attention they obviously crave
3. To educate the dumb ones by pointing out errors
4. To persuade the dumb ones to ask fewer dumb questions so intelligent questions can have more visibility
5. To suggest to the dumb ones that they might want to take more time to think before posting so people can understand better what they want and can offer better solutions faster
6. To persuade the dumb ones that they might be taken more seriously if they presented their posts in a less dumb way
7. To persuade the dumb ones to think more logically about their arguments so that stupid ones don't contaminate any useful views they might have
8. To persuade the dumb ones to read what has been said on the thread(s) before they post to avoid wasting time
9. To persuade the dumb ones of the futility of presenting the same argument over and over again

and not least

10. To amuse intelligent people by making my points about arguments, generally using humour (so they get read) in a way that perhaps is occasionally too subtle for the dumb ones.

11. Because I can.

Inputs? Now it is *me* that is baffled. What do you know of those with respect to my existence as a black box? Your analogy fails at that point, and if it didn't . . .

Both actually. I find him quite entertaining, though sometimes annoying (but then I find almost everyone has their annoying moments). I truly do appreciate his humor and wit and sarcasm - but yes, he is sometimes harsher than I think he should be, and occasionally even downright mean to folks (in my view).

It's a computer science concept, actually. Which is all the information you need to go learn about it, should you be interested.

Yet teh "poster" is a favourite among many? As you "truly do appreciate his humor and wit and sarcasm" which is really none of those things but just a nasty attitude and snide comments. The "poster" is as near as dammit is to swearing to griefing since he fixes upon one or two other people tha he chooses to bully and simply embarasses them or tries to embarrass them and then seeks excuses such as "I really like intellgient people". I wont be leaving teh forum but since I am recovering from my accident now I will be moving on. Maybe I'll think up a few questions to annoy or interest people. But he takes any humour and good will out of whatever I (and many many others) have posted and prefers to belittle people. It's a shame teh forum can become so acrimonious since its a fun place to share ideas (liek a coffee shop or a pub) and a bit of good-natured jossing is fine. I really quite like a snappish reply as long as it isnt on the same theme of "you're stupid, I'm not". Well, let's see if teh poster grabs on to something I've said here and rap me on my knuckles yet again. And yet again I wish him (and all of you) a very happy christmas. Enjoy your families and support each other.

This is annoying forum people. IM me online and we can try and sort this out. It's getting out of hand. But why why why are you so hurtful to me? What have I actually done to make you follow everything thread I make with these unhelpful comments? It's not like we swap banter - its really driving me away from teh forum
