spin (are you referring to the famous British black humour or to Black British people? In any case, LOL, you're funny in a sort of a way, I suppose. Hey, perhaps we should all sign off like this - there's always _something_ else we could add to our posts, isn't there?)

My franchise terms are reasonable

About 99% of the inhabitants of SL. You could do with some considerable assistance it appears.

Pep (Although it does reflect your character well; it is incoherent, self-indulgent and vain.)

Hahaha. So true.

Wow, I almost forgot about this thread. I feel like I've named names. Sorry, didn't mean to.

Uhm, so "pep" is one of Pserendipity's personalities that manifests itself in the form of a post script? gotcha... I think...

PEP googled means an act of printing magazines that contains pornographic materials. So I guess we have our answer. Entertainment for the masses.

That was probably a good idea! :D

Pep (With your level of literacy you would have understood very little of what I post.)

PS Seriously, I would recommend it to semi-literates and those with English as a poor second language who would get even more confused than if they had not visited the forum at all. ;)

You see, I understand why people do the things they do; the things that people can't, the things that drive people nuts. Some do it for the fun, some for the pain, some to enlighten.

The enlightenment aspect is interesting: Some griefers do it so the people they terrorize will learn that it is just a game, that they are taking it to seriously, that they are taking life too seriously. Once you understand why people do what they do... well it's easier to deal with them. It's fear of the unknown and undefined different that drives people crazy. Take that away and you can laugh at the insanity, you can distance your self from it.

But people just don't get it, they resist becoming enlightened. That's where I come in. The majority don't want to be enlightened, at least not that way; and so it was my job to protect them. The griefers don't get it, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.

Pep's likes to roll the dice and see where they fall, taking great risks with the payout more often then not being infamy. On the one hand I see a craftsman, able to work a crowd and I can respect that but to use it to drive people crazy, making their lives just a little bit worse I can't respect. We want a world that is black and white; but it isn't, we not only have shades of gray, we have every color and even wavelengths we can't even see that effect us. C'est la vie. You can't control it, you might as well enjoy the ride, even if the scenery does suck. Complain if you want, it might not cause anything to change.

I really think this should end now. It's school humour at best and although this person can annoy many of us - he is probably unemployed and a bit angry with world - this is a mild form of bear-baiting and persecution-humour.
We type - he replies - we rise to the bait.
He is a major reason for many leaving this forum since he can be hurtful. Many of us are not used to back-stabbing and sarcasm/cynicism that a forum like this appears to expect.
Let's have good humour, funny things said, and some neat discussions. This type of place can be so much more. We've all been guilty of this kinda thing. Let's see what we can do to change it.

Pep, you clearly have NO idea what teaching English as a Second Language entails. Now let's please end this. Many of us are being driven away from forums because of this "style" of interplay.

And, no - contrary to one poster's opinion - you are clearly NOT a craftsman: you are a pedant.

Wow! I wish I'd said that. Although I would argue that sometimes peoples' lives have to get a little bit worse first, before the enlightenment kicks in. That's a judgment call, and sometimes it doesn't happen, which I do regret. :(

Pep (No, Strife is *not* my alt! :D )

PS Watch out Strife, Jig's after your old job.

I don't believe Pep intends any malice at all - people get too worked up about things at times.

The meaning of “Pep” is a difficult matter,
It isn’t just one of your forum themes.
You may think at first I’m as mad as a hatter,
When I tell you that “Pep” must have three different memes.

First of all there’s the meme of the signature format,
With parenthesised comment, addendum and quips.
Then there’s the rigorous spelling and grammar,
Optimistically hoping this meme will transmit.

Last of all is the meme of the known personality,
Challenging, knowledgeable, pointed and sharp.
“Sit up! Pay attention! Yes - you at the back there!”
I’m Pep and no other – and I’ll leave my mark!

Deira (Pep is welcome to respond - but only in doggerel verse.)

I'm a good mix of English, Irish and Scots in truth - that's why Deira is Welsh - to give ballance.
