Isn't it enough that so many people here feel animosity towards you, or is being noticed worth it to you?

Is that all you've got? I'll try again and I'll make it even easier for you... Isn't it enough that so many people here feel animosity towards you? Pep (hasn't ever needed to employ an army to generate animosity towards him.) _____________________

No answer, Pap? Perhaps you're having an off-form day. No matter. If and when you find an answer for me, please post it. I'm sure you don't want us to believe that you've been stumped by a simple little question like that. Pep (I have my own silent majority chuckling at my posts to match the vocal majority who despise your methods.) _____________________

You go first. I reckon a lot more people are annoyed with your championing of bots than have ever been worried by my criticising the size of their thighs. Isn't it enough that so many people here feel animosity towards you????? See the string of question marks at the end? They indicate that it's a question. And the fact that I've quoted your post indicates that it is a question for *you*. I hope that helps your understanding _____________________

Nobody asked me a question so how can I go first. Perhaps you didn't understand that it was a question both times. I'll dumb it down a bit more for you by making it even clearer... Isn't it enough that so many people here feel animosity towards you????? See the string of question makrs at the end? They indicate that it's a question. And the fact that I've quoted your post indicates that it is a question for *you*. Oh, sorry, I thought that you were asking yourself the question, as it is much more appropriate. Go on - give me a hint on how I should reply, given that you are reviled by significantly more people than I am, and have been for significantly longer. _____________________

That's three goes at it and you've failed to even attempt an answer each time. I honestly thought you had more about than that, Pap, but I was wrong. I can't dumb it down any further for you, so I guess it's plain for all to see that you really are a few slices short of a loaf. I'm sure that everyone else could understand the question - it's not a difficult one - but not you. Oh well. Well, in the absence of any coherent input from you I will respond by saying that of course I am disappointed that a few (not many) of the less gifted participants here are unable to comprehend my jewels of advice and opinion, but that I shall keep trying to educate them, and hope that their embarrassment and denial of their low-worth ceases to be converted into blaming the one who exposes their inadequacies - a common phenomenon called transference, I understand from those of my ex-gfs who were shrinks. Being noticed is part and parcel of participation in the forums, of course. I tend to be effective at that sort of thing, but then, I am effective at all sorts of things here in the forums, inworld and in real life, which gets me much attention, both wanted and unwanted. Pep (But that's the price I pay for being able to communicate so effectively.) PS Now, no stealing those ideas the next time anyone asks *you* how you feel about being the most hated man in the forums, you hear! _____________________

Well, I think this thread is well and truly dead. You can stick a fork in it.
Thank you to everyone who contributed examples and ideas of griefing, and to those of you who PMed with further information: it is very much appreciated. I have a wealth of new information here that I will be able to incorporate into the Survival Kit. And of course, I'd be delighted to receive further anecdotes that may occur to anyone in the future, by PM, parcel post, or pony express. Again, thanks to everyone for the help! _____________________

Yep. Did that. Sounded the same again. Pep (Badly phrased question; even worse answer.) And apparently a bad assumption on the part of the reader. I didn't say that *I* believe she's your alt. Only that at least one person other than Jason Fallen believes she's your alt. Unless you think I'm paranoid because of what others believe? (Badly phrased question; excellent answer; very confused reader.) _____________________

So you won't help me from your own experience of being the most unpopular man in the forums, then? Well, in the absence of any coherent input from you I will respond by saying that of course I am disappointed that a few (not many) of the less gifted participants here are unable to comprehend my jewels of advice and opinion, but that I shall keep trying to educate them, and hope that their embarrassment and denial of their low-worth ceases to be converted into blaming the one who exposes their inadequacies - a common phenomenon called transference, I understand from those of my ex-gfs who were shrinks. You mean like your repeated attempts at diverting the general feeling of animosity in the forum away from you and onto me? I see what you mean. Actually more like him trying to divert the discussion of your observation that he deserved the cancer outburst into what the outburst said. _____________________

That's probably it, and he is still guily of the transference that he criticised other people for.

Gordon Bennett.
There's only one way to solve this... FIGHT! I vote for naked mud wrestling. Two falls, two submissions or a knockout. No gouging or biting. Well, maybe the odd nibble would be OK. And hey, if either of you boys get a little stiffy, you're disqualified! ![]() |
