No bitching from me here, but thing is, I was totally undressed (was changing whole outfit) in my bedroom when SL crashed and later I couldn't log on anymore. So, now I'm naked in there and when I will log on again when SL is up, I will materialize outside before my house, naked, because I have no idea of my bedroom coordinates..LOL

Someone mentioned that SL's network load on the ISP is 1000% higher than, say, WOW or Everquet. I'm wondering where they pulled that stat from...........hmmmm, maybe not. But my immediate thought was what about a site like You Tube and their network load? I'm sure there are more than 50,000 plus users browsing, downloading, uploading, playing streams, jumping from one video to another at any given time (don't ask me where I pulled that information from......most likely the same place the person who posted the 1000% tid bit pulled theirs information .

The ISP excuse for major down times on SL has been used quite a lot over the years I've been in the game.........it's beginning to sound a lot like a canned response to headaches LL can't readily solve for themselves. I'm beginning to not buy that reason anymore. Or I wonder why they continued to use that ISP if it's so prone to problems and that is really the core of all those big problems.

This is the longest outage i've ever seen in SL since i've been here, and at $68.50 USD a DAY in tier that I pay to LL.... ouch... it kinda hurts a little... I wonder if they'll consider offering credits back to some or all of their residents once they get the grid back on line...

I've worked for a few of the big names out there, Interplay (in their heyday), Activision (in their prime pre "Acti LACK OF Vision" days), MicroProse (before the Hasbro takeover). I am literally shocked that Linden Labs have managed to keep this going for this long without having to sell the whole kit and kaboodle as an on going concern...
