I hear what you're saying Yummy and although I agree with you,, it just gets so damn frustrating when you're paying high tier fees and have limited time to be in-world. Especially when it seems it's the same old problems time after time!

But,, I will agree that if one has nothing positive to say,, well then,, keep it at a minimum and get on with life,,,. Second Life that is!! giggle

Let people vent. Perhaps something constructive can come out of some of the tidbits people have to say... such as new users thinking twice about signing up when they see so much commotion and unhappy people.

Stay quiet and we're just helping LL stay unstable.

I know I would certainly have thought twice about sinking one single L$ into SL if I knew how things would continue to be. What I like to do is take something from those who have been here longer than I have and see what they think.

It might be different if all this was completely free. Its not.

I think that is the problem, a lot of people have a hell of a lot of money invested...kinda gives them a little right to grumble I guess.

Yes, but I suspect a lot of people actually don't believe that. Hence the bitching. Most are paying customers, and have the right to expect a certain level of service and support.

While the "Sky is falling, SL sucks" chant can be tiersome, so is the "SL is cutting edge, it's evolving and you have to keep up, LL are amazing visionaries" line. As with most things, the truth lies in the middle.

nah, im not bitching, im just merely trying to add some positive reinforcement before i hand out lunch and nap mats.

While I'm totally bored out of my mind and disgusted with the mandatory update of this POS client, I'm in fact saving my $L and my RL money. I'm not out there shopping LOL which I so love to do. I love SL. I am truly addicted to it as so many others are. I'm just getting my feet wet with some serious building knowledge. I have ideas and have intended to go premium for the past month. I've literally been sitting on my hands to keep from clicking that premium button! But for the last month that's what I've been doing..sitting on my hands. I'm not going to click that button anytime soon because that would be tossing money out the window at this point. With this new client, my SL experience has totally rotted in a mere three days.

On a better note though, I can probably delete over half of my inventory, thereby saving myself the misery of a little lag, since the majority of my scripted items no longer work. (hehe just had to get a small bitchy whine in)

I can do it in under a minute.

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that we are like freaking crack addicts in need of our daily fix and with out it we’re faced with that nasty thing called reality. If I’m not in SL™ for too long I start hallucinating. Carpets start asking to be swept. Dishes start to follow me around. And the lawn…OMG make it shut up. They’re all after me. They’re coming for me! Open the damn grid!!!! Open it NOW!!! PLEEEEZI IN THE NAME OF GOD!! LET ME IN!!!!

Seriously, i do know where you're coming from, like i said..i make my extra income from SL..dont wanna get into it, im on disablity, bla bla..who cares..but STILL..i have a NEED from sl myself..but hell..maybe if we think positive, it could work..i mean, nothing else is..what do we have to lose.
