Enough bitching!

You know, I come here and read all the posts about how horrible a job Linden Lab is doing, and how disgusted people are, and fed up, and "im going to leave SL", etc etc..I swear, it's like a bunch of old women and spoiled rotten "Britney Spears"...does anyone ever realize how hard of a job it is to cater to all of us "I want it NOW' ppl? Second Life is a platform like nothign else out there, it's constantly changing, it isnt a static game like WOW. Im sure they're doing their very best to get things right. Im sure they dont want a shitty platform just as much as you dont. Does anyone say anything positive? Sorry, I just really hate bitching right now.

Well. Guild wars, WoW, etc seem to manage a lot better.

Some folks got RL business in SL, but yeah it's a platform...I think they need more manpower. They're runnin an MMO w/ users on all the time, no pre-game, then the pro-texture artists & 3D designers are done, THEN release it. Can't imagine what it must be like bein in charge of keepin the Grid up

There is a lot of bitching, I agree. And I do think LL want SL to be the best that it possibly can be. But it also never escapes me that LL employees will get paid no matter how long SL is offline (provided its not offline for say, a year), whereas those who rely on SL to generate RL incomes get a little bit more upset over every passing minute of the day - especially at weekends when transactions are at their most frequent. So, in conclusion...bitching is good, Britney is bad.

I can understand people's frustrations. Especially when you put a lot of money into SL every month. LL is lucky I am too lazy to look for the support phone number!!

I know what you're saying, my RL income IS SL..i mean it pays my electric bill and puts gas in my car, so yes..i DO care when its down..but you know..negative energy only makes things NOT happen..we all need to do a positive chant..giggles

Though I do kinda believe. I mean, it's natural for people to vent when stuff goes wrong. An a LOT has gone wrong the last couple days -- but there has been some seriously over the top comments here an there. :-/
