For the rude answerers and RA goers

Oh please, Ricardo. Clearly, some people can't control their impulses and post something germane to this forum's designated subject. Otherwise the topic wouldn't come up so damned much. Who knows what would happen? LL is a capricious organization. They could just close RA the same way they did with General, and a host of other forums that actually required Linden attention. LL is known to take the easy way out. You'd have to do your bitching elsewhere.

No it's because of this logic: General Discussion got out of control>Got shut down. So Resident Answers gets out of control>Will get shut down.

It's an effort to preserve the forum. The logic may be faulty however. That's why I'm not making my "Where's a res mod" comments anymore.

If it's not a clique in the "group type of way", it's not a clique. You can't have a clique without a group - it's one of the elements of a clique. Also, you ARE rude and a malcontent, so you can't be upset when someone says you are. I don't know that you're wrong, although you and I disagree on some issues, but when you state your opinions, you're rude and obnoxious to other people and completely disrespectful. That has nothing to do with a perceived clique - it's YOUR behavior. Stop being obnoxious and people will stop calling you obnoxious.

Look - I can't be surprising you with this information. You're clearly an intelligent person. You know how you're presenting your argument. By now you have to realize how ineffective it is. You're never going to convince anybody of anything when you have completely turned them off by your approach.

Don't worry Penny. It won't be very much longer and RA will be shut down like the original general forum was. Then they will just migrate to another forum and pollute that one too until it gets shut down. It's a shame, but just a matter of time.

i was where you are Penny, and i got over it(although im miffed at the no prizes thing.... humph!!!). it has been said before, in many, many threads like this, that its hard to convey tone,and emotion via text. and yeah, this forum is so tame, other forums visit just to remember what "play nice" looks like. and they ARE moderated. so buck up, pick what you want to read. and enjoy the pie!

They all know it's true, Why do you think all the remarks aimed at what I said about there being a clique? They know who they are and others do too. Yes, they try to make light out of it but they know what I said it's true. Not that it matters one way or the other as nothing changes here. Things will continue as they have been.

All that really matters is that we all choose sides. Otherwise how would we know who wins in the end?

Choose sides because it's what you think and feel not because the rest are doing it. This is the big difference here. Regardless of your views whether anyone agrees with you or not is the way it should be not because the others all agree on it.

I like few post I have read of yours. I like mostly everyone usually but
sometimes the forum has its major down moments and bothers even me.
Usually that means I need a break and do something else then hang out in forum.
I often tell myself to "Ignore the rude people if you can or take a break"
On bad day I can look at the forum and I convince myself that this is how everyone
in humanity is and work myself up to feel very uncomfortable being a part of the human
race.

Am I in the clique?

I mean that seriously. I'm wondering exactly what "the clique" is.
