If one thinks of SL as a restaurant, it gives it a different perspective

I would like to think that folks here would not swear and curse in a restaurant because oh..the owner raised the prices on the menu, but the serving sizes stayed the same, and the waitresses all do the same as they did... same service, higher price... we live with it all the time

and if someone were to start swearing and saying FU (name of restaurant) I would expect them to be tossed out (suspended as it were)

they are providing us a "meal" the openspace sims... but now they are raising the prices on the menu, but the "meal" and wait staff etc, all remains the same

SL and LL are not a necessity for life. It is not like the water company or the phone company etc, the utilities as it were

SL is like that Friday night out, or the trip to the Bahamas, it is an extra above our necessities.

(sure some folks use it to make a RL income, and for those folks, it might seem like a necessity, but, still it is not, it is still an extra in our lives)

No we purchased a meal, started eating and then they raised the price of the dinner 67% on us halfway through the meal after we had already ordered it at the lower price and threatened to call the cops if we didn't pay.

Because they are the Lindens , walking around trying to catch people who say Fuck You back to them. It's entrapment. The Man wants to keep us all down.

each month you go back to buy the same meal

they are telling you NOW that whenever (next month or whatever the date is) that the price will go up

it is not like you pay a one time fee and use if forever... you pay monthly to basically get that meal again and again etc

and the new price to buy the meal applies to those who buy it ... not to those who already bought it

basically... you pay for the meal, and then you pay monthly to continue to receive that meal

they are raising the price on buying the meal and continuing to receive it... you have a choice to make, continue to get it at the new price, or decide you no longer want it

Just as you would decide if you wish to return to a members only club, that charges you to become a member then a monthly fee to return (or a members only restaurant, keeping on that theme) then pay to return each month.

So Lindens deserve some type of special protection? If Jane Doe sent in an AR about this conduct do you really think anything would be done? Back when the Police Blotter was more useful, I remember seeing one day suspensions for attempting to crash sims. Is the use of a word worse than causing a sim to go down?

grocery store recently started reducing portion sizes on various things. anyone else notice that? same prices for less and even higher prices sometimes for less than what we used to get. a tub of ice cream magically got smaller, microwave meals are shrinking, etc.

guess i better go cuss out the grocery store manager.
