I know one RL couple who are both in SL. They both use casual SL sex to get themselves aroused, and then rush off together to enjoy the fruits of their efforts.
This works for them, I think. They've been doing this in SL for a couple of years.

This just shows you how clued in I am about such things Nothing is ever quite as it seems. I've mentioned before - it's not the pretty female avatars on the grid turning out to be men that freak me out - it's the casual male 40-something guys I hang out with that suddenly turn out to be pretty young gals that cause me stress. Imagine. Hangin' out, not saying much, doing guy things for months... telling blonde jokes - then finding out that Frank or Steve isn't quite the ol' chum you always thought he was. In fact 'he' is a co-ed that in real life, has the entire economics class class distracted. WHY!? you ask, only to find out that she was amused, testing her actress skills and found you a bit entertaining. Regardless, you just can't shake months and months of your ol' pal's casual, detached male cameraderie, and to think of him in 'real life' as female is just beyond your ken (no pun intended). It's kinda like if Trout turned out to be a young celebrity starlet. Not much chance of that happening. They can do the surgery to make me a starlet, but they haven't perfected the one to make me young. _____________________

Got a live and let live take on it, but odds of me ever being anywhere near it approach absolute zero. Hadn't been to a gorean area either for years, until finally a friend *insisted* that I go see her region. So there I was, in all my 19th century stuffiness, surrounded by nakie posing avatars. I didn't treat anyone as masters or slaves, nobody gave me a bad time, and it was all very low key. Had a really innocent vibe somehow, actually. Grown men and women acting like 13 year olds at a junior high school dance - possibly a side effect of me being there. Hard to be mysterious and alluring when the most I'd do is just giggle at any exposed pixellated naughty-bits, I guess. Hard to explain, but it was really like that. I've had a couple instances of people trying to 'role play' in certain ways with me, but it's kinda hard to get a reaction out of a guy lost in a dozen IM's, several notecards pasted on his screen, several inventory window instances and floating afk at 200 meters. My general reaction to various animations in that situation has been "hang on I'll be right with you" if I even notice - I'm often zoomed so far out from my avatar that it's like a little disembodied dot somewhere. Such is what it's like taking care of a lot of people's SL issues all at once. _____________________

Its quite possible to tour the place and not be bothered by anyone. Just don't strike up any conversations of those looking to Role Play with you.
