wow, I lost a LOT of ratings, but they definately look more accurate now, and more meaningful.

i wonder if they will be reimbursing folks for the money they lost rating people from the past year? I wont rate anymore if they are going to decay every 6 months

I think the deal is that most people aren't worried about the loss. Still though I feel like I wasted 1200 lindens rating people and now its gone. I guess the person knew I rated them and that is all that counts. would be nice to get the money back still lol I paid good money for that rate even if it was L$1 - $3 I was thinking of sort of a rating credit towards the new system , that 1200 in a credit to where I can rerate my friends for $25 |

Not only is the question of being reimbursed valid but has anybody been able to re-rate someone to verify that it doesn't still think you've rated them previously?

Yes, I went through and restored all the ratings I could be bothered to, the ones carelessly invalidated. It was as if I had never rated them in the first place.

Old totals:
behavior +646/-1 appearance +728/-1 building +540/-0 given +1725/-5 My new totals are: Behavior +91/-0 Appearance +84/-0 Building +86/-0 Given +173/-0 I had to guess on the old "given" total because I forgot to write down the totals before the wipe. I was able to get the rest of them off the leaderboards which still show the old totals. _____________________

Actually Nolan I think my numbers vaguely resembled yours. I didnt rate mine either in fact I think I have only went to 3 clubs one of which was one of the first two strip joints. But that was over 19 months ago before the "Rate Mine" partys began.
Anyway, No biggie what I mentioned before in another thread is comming to fruition and not a dang thing will change...Rate whores will be rate whores and the rest will be lost in the washing away of ratings...sigh. _____________________

Well more than half of mine are gone too.. .the only thing that really pisses me off is I have to go hunt down the people who I think rock and rerate them. I guess it will give me something to do.
