bucause my background is in media As is mine, and although I do find them self serving and sensationalistic, I distrust those who don't want them there even more. As for Editorials post.. I think I did a quick analysis of it... a few points that were proved to be true.. a single opinon, a chatlog and a notecard. I think Ed's actions on this one are what the media SHOULD be doing.. informing people on whats going on around them - especially when it involves policy making that affects everyone in SL. Your vehemance towards your own transparency, for me anyways, puts you on the 'are these the guys you REALLY want representing you?' side of the table. From: someone

As for me, I'll represent myself... thank you very much. I don't require some self-appointed representatives to speak for me or those outside SL I may represent. I'll be starting my own group now, the "MTUCPE" - which stands for, of course, "Merely Tourists, Users, Consumers, Players, Etc." We'll be easy to spot - we'll be the ones wearing big floppy sun hats, oversized sunglasses, tshirts, bermuda shorts, black socks and sandals, with cameras at the ready. We're also the ones with tons-o-cash in hand, eager to buy everything the "Stakeholders" have for sale, be it land, content, whatever. Well, we used to be eager. After reading all this, we took a group vote (4 to 3) and decided that the Stakeholders can try to do whatever the hell they want with their evidently priceless goods - cause they don't seem need us. So fine, sell it to each other and live happily ever after (or for 6 months, which is the max I give it without us) - we have other "countries" to invade. BTW, Robin was so very wrong when she said SL wasn't a game .... this whole incident is one of the funniest damn head games I've seen in years!
