Poll: Would you give up part of your stipend if it meant continuing event support?

This would be equivalent to like, an Activities Fee. I love it. I'm totally down with the idea.

waste of time for whom? If they were just a waste of time there wouldn't be people attending them... TV is a waste of time, we still watch, sitting on a computer playing a game is a waste of time but we still play it... there are alot of things that are a waste of time, but we still do it.

if the ratings has to be increased I say do it to about 5, 25 is asinine, then people will still have cash to make off the stipend because people will still be rating, and it should go out to all events, I would glady donate some of my cash to support that. many left There to avoid this kind of thing... its not the wisest choice I feel you could have made, but your game...

Think outside the box...why do you need it? You make quality merchandise as do other merchants at LeCadre.....give away prizes.

Misty used to give away prizes all the time and people loved it...yes she gave away money too but the prizes people clammored for. People are going to use the money you give away to buy something...wouldn't it make more sense and be better advertisement if you gave prizes away?

Just remembered everyone wanted to win that damn VW convertible she had....she must have given easily hundreds of them out and still people cheered when she gave one away.

i vote no. I dont think this would be a good idea. I dont feel its right for every one to have to take a cut for something they may or may not use. I mean not every one goes to events some sit in the sand box and build to there hearts content. Why should they be effected by people who are crying becuse they might actually have to throw quality type events to draw people in.... instead of just offer ungodly amounts of money.


i think the cuts will make events become better. people will go to places and give dwell to the places they like best not who can put the most in there poket book. I actually blame the clubs for the massive inflation... i read a post by Jenna Fairplay a couple mounths back she was talking about new players comeing in buying lindens and throwing it around... that is exactly what the clubs are doing they buy 30k lindens a week then give it away to the new players and old players cuaseing a inflation becuse money is not locked up as much as it was.

Talen its not about ME. there are other people that only host events and do not create... what about trivia? Bingo? There are alot of other events, and yes Misty did give alot away in which all was donated to her, she doesnt create, she HOSTS.

Just answered your own question...if there is a host that doesn't create ....get people to donate...I have donated and would again. As for bingo charge a ten linden fee and that covers the pot.....Bingo in real life works that way I would think it would work here too

For me - which is what that poll is about... would *I* part with my bonus if it meant supporting events.

If there were some events I found even remotely interesting anymore my opinion may change - but as it is currently -- no I wouldn't.

lmfao yeah i have better things to do too, hosting event and have fun doing it is probably something you have never experienced ... and i have to agree with sens its not an easy job and as i said when i started SL thats what actually helped me make SOME sort of money .. i dont know what you do build,script or w/e not everyone is able to do it yes im learning to make stuff but thats because i want to learn and i think hosting an event... thers NOTHING wrong with it ... honestly what i noticed the people who really dont give a damn are prolly the people who never hosted in events for as ong as they play dont even have a clue how hard it can be .... and again its my word against yours.. i just think its the right thing to do and you have all the rights in the world not to agree but u obviously dont see it from the same view as half the people who host(ed) events do... and think about the noobies for a second .. how are THEY supposed to earn it if thers no prizes or support

I have hosted quite a few events and not once did I rely on the lindens for support. I've already stated ways of doing it. There are good events and there are bad events but events arent hard to host.
