EVERYONE has access to the same money and pays about the same amount for it (IGE/GOM)

EVERYONE can buy land on auction just like anyone else and sell it for a profit of some type.

If you gat a big SL government the idea is checks and balance, if there is a monopoly it is taken care of by seperating the big conglomerant into smaller companies. If we had a government we would have that same ability and the system would take care of itself.

SL is growing rapidly. There are always new players with plenty of $$ that will always keep the market competing.

There is a group of people that controls all the land, money, and commerce in SL. They are all in on a grand scheme to take over SL. GOM, several land barrons, Le Cadre, Neuteredburg, LL, and GOM are all in on this. They are trying to acquire all the resources in SL so as they can control you and the rest of the SL population.

However, I have watched you (Catherine) bash these groups and the people that are members with nothing to back up what you are accussing them of. To be honest, I am not even sure anyone is sure what you are actually accussing.

I haven't been in SL that long but I do know that many people "play" with the goal of making money. I see nothing wrong with that. I do not see how you can cry "monopoly" or any wrong doing without giving us any facts to back it up. You have listed people in certain groups, quoted their charters, and made some strange connections amongst them. But nowhere have you given us any proof of anything wrong here. I'm not saying that any of the people involved in the groups you have listed might not be out for themselves ... but ... aren't we all when it comes down to it. We all want to work towards a goal, or profit or some end result. For me, the end result is just to enjoy playing and building and meeting people in SL. For others, it's making a profit from land, objects or services. I don't see a problem with that.

If you truly have "evidence" that these people/groups are doing some abhorent evil things in SL perhaps you can share that with us and enlighten us. Until then, please stop seeing evil around every corner.
