Come on now your realy going to start the argument that just becuase its a group its not realy run by anyone. Give me a bit of a break here. I have made some valid points and all I keep hearing is ppl wiggling out of anything that might make them responcible for their joining these groups. Or any irregularity by their chosen leaders.

Every single question you have asked has been answered, you just refuse to acknowledge that. Give us a bit of a break here. None of us are apologizing for joining this group, we joined it to actually help people. You continue to read only what you want, so I am going to spell it out very clearly. You cannot have it both ways. The group is not run by one person, yet you keep laying your suspicion of the group's motives on the activities of its founder. As everyone in the group is an officer, Anshe has no ability to control the group, thus by continuing to press your points even after they are addressed, you are making a blanket statement about the entire group. No one has wiggled out of anything, you just keep saying the same things even after it has been answered ad nauseum.

PS - you are not in this group, yet you know how it is run? We can most certainly state that no one person is in charge of it. Unless you are actively participating in the group, what you keep saying about it is pure conjecture, and false. It has been stated to you clearly that Anshe is not in charge of the group, that all officers are involved in it and you are fully aware of the way group tools work. The only person breaking down the talks on this is you. You refuse to conceed that we are working together, instead you want to continue to insist that Anshe is calling the shots, WHICH IS NOT TRUE.

Believe me, I can sympathize with you - I feel like mine has been banged against a wall as well.

Please explain how the land prices are being fixed. I recently purchased land in Federal that sat for nearly a month for sale at $10/m and did not move. The price was reduced twice and I finally purchased it at $3/m. There is a huge market of land being sold by private owners, who set it at whatever price they think they can sell it for. They soon find there is a price at which land will move, though sometimes crazy things happen (I know someone who marked her little plot for $75k, and got that price - someone obviously wanted the land badly enough, as there is plenty of land on the market). For there to be price fixing, there would in fact have to be a consensus among various large scale land traders on exactly the price to sell for. Do you know who all the land traders are? No? Neither do they, so it's hard to collude when you don't know who to collude with.

Christmas trees and wreaths are being sold for profit! Did the owner invent these items? I believe they were invented a long time ago and should be free for all.

1) The group, while founded by Anshe Chung, is not led by her. Each member of the group is part of the leadership of the group - it is led by committee, not by a single person. I don't know why you stay on this point. Yes, it was founded by Anshe. Yes, I know you don't like Anshe. We may disagree about a lot of things, Catherine, but do you honestly think I would work so hard to try to get problems in the land market reformed, only to join some nefarious group that just wants to screw people. I take this thread personally because what you are implying is insulting. Every question you have thrown out as a "see, this is what they might do" scenario has been addressed. What more do you want?

2) This is a group that takes donated land from its officers and helps match it up with interested new players. Any officer in the group can sell the land, as you know, as once land is deeded to the group, it is out of control of the original person.

3) Is not getting actively involved and trying to make a difference more important than just hurling accusations in a forum?

4) Give the group a chance before damning it. That is the most maddening part of this.

Does this group have any affect on you, Catherine? It is a group to donate land to new players to help them move into larger and more desireable plots. How is it in any way detracting from your fun? The agenda of the group is to help people, and you cannot see beyond your own bias to not stop for a second and acknowledge that. What is being overlooked? The group has not done anything, hell, it is barely off the ground.

i suggest that all Land Angel officers stop responding to anymore inquiries until we have properly ironed out the details of how the group will operate. right now there is nothing new for us to add to this discussion, and there is no convincing everyone of the benefit of this program, particularly those most interested in seeing us fail before we even give it a good effort.

You answered your own quote, Catherine. I am not sure why you can't discuss this civilly, but it is clear that was not your intention. When you post your "suspicions" you claim you are just raising questions. When anyone questions your own motives, logic, or your own bias, then you are under attack. You did not come to this thread seeking answers, you came to this thread seeking to draw negative attention to a group that is doing nothing wrong, and is helping others, and it is very personal, no matter how many different ways you try to deny that.
