Actually, I suggest that you let them post their content-free, pointless and insulting posts. It gives us a better idea of who's ideas to ignore and who's ideas can be treated seriously. How are our posts insulting ? we are just playing with eachother...not talking to or about anyone else....Blaze...meet catherine...you two were made for eachother. |

OMG - here I am working away and log in to look at this and see that Talen and I - who are just playing around - are being reprimanded by Blaze and Cat!! Hey, ya know... at 54 if you think I am 12 I could really care less. You take yourself way too seriously and need to get a life. Since when does it go that when someone opens a thread they own it? I am sure I speak for Talen too when I say that we are just having a little fun. Get off of our cloud! Yo have succeeded in pissing me off - finally - which isn't a pretty thing.

Ursa, the point was never to piss you off.
However, maybe we all (me included) need to be a bit more sensitive to other people and the ideas they are trying to propose by trying to stay on topic and treat the subject matter with the same seriousness they do. Or, perhaps, just not post at all. _____________________

Well I never said that was the point, Blaze. This thread DIED awhile ago. The people it attempted to 'call on the floor' have not been called and the others should just be embarrassed that it even exists. I got the feeling that what was said here didn't really have to make a whole lot of sense. So, I am just staying in the flow of things.
The fact that Talen and I were having a bit of fun when no one else seemed to care to post anything else does not make it 'crap' that is 'harassing' to Catherine. Its not about Catherine. It just a couple of folks trying to blow off some steam in this otherwise fairly nasty thread. I felt harassed here, I felt alot of 'crap' was said here. So who is the jusge of that - Huh?? I don't think either you - or I - or the man in the moon at this point . I don't feel like honoring this thread or its ideas at this point in time. I attempted to answer questions and be as friendly and cooperative as possible in the earlier part of this (two days ago) then I took yesterday off - except to kick what I considered a dead horse, and today Talen and I just started to play. It wasn't bait... wasn't trolling... Why spend time monitoring this obviously dead thread - I think the issue is MOOT - no one is going to agree - I don't see a whole lot of support for branding this group as 'bad' for SL. _____________________

Dear LL; This is the kind of crap I feel is harrasment in a thread. Both of these ppl are intentionaly Trolling this forum for the sole purpose of closing it and pissing me off. I have also asked a few times now that this tread be closed. Could you tell what good it is doing to have it reamin open? Also please explain the good in your decision to let them continue. Catherine Catherine, So it is bad for them to try to get the thread closed (which is not even what they seem to be doing), but it is fine for you to demand that it be closed, which you have done several times, at your own admission? If they were attempting to get the thread closed, I would imagine they would be attacking each other, perhaps calling someone a troll, etc. As it stands, they were posting silly comments back and forth to each other in a thread that all would agree has far outlived any original point it had, so whether it remains open, gets closed, edited, locked, deleted, burned, or decorated for Christmas is irrelevant at this point. You wonder why people find you obtuse and confusing, it is summarized in your quote above, and paraphrased as "Even though nothing was posted directed at me until I reemerged and called Talen a troll, continuing to post in a thread I wanted closed in order to get it closed is bad. It's not bad for me to demand it be closed though.". I would think you would be happy if they did in fact manage to get it closed. . _____________________
