From: Shiryu Musashi Interesting attempt, a bit late, but interesting. Come on, at least try to retain some dignity. She edited the quoted part in after the original post saying its only Anshes business if she wants to post on the boards about us building our club. Some of the objects did protrude over the border but we are working on it. It takes time to tweak the rotating objects to not protrude. We just started on the club so give us a break. This is a property line dispute, not extortion.

From: Daemioth Sklar Goodness! I get to choose between two of the groups/corps/entities in SL I hate most! For once, perhaps they can beat one another up and I get to watch! This is Karma in action, folks. I'm gonna sit this one out, deal no sympathy to either of the parties, and sip this thread up like a slow mellow coffee mocha. I am happy.
(It's too bad you spent too much of your time trying to ruin other peoples' land, terraforming land to all-hell, throwing for sale signs across the globe, telling people--audaciously--that what they have on their land is ugly and ruins your property value. Ohhh I'm enjoying this.)*
*I apologize for being so untraditionally evil. But I know I'm not the only one smirking sheepishly right now. I am learning so much! WHo put all those for sale boxes (HUGE ) in mowry? I wish I could get on in game. I tried to take a picture in my house there and All i was getting for backgrounds was for sale signs lol. I cant wait to see who the Land Baron(ness ) of that is.

It takes time to tweak rotating objects to not protrude? I thought it takes 2 minutes to place them far enough from the borders. One always learns something.

Look we were working on it last night and we almost got it nailed down as the pictures we posted show. There was absolutely no reason to post a topic like this over a border dispute.

From: Shadow Weaver You know what Im gonna stay out of this one but will say Anshe doesnt deserve to be targeted like this for griefing and extortion. Agreed. Nobody should be the victim of land extortion. Deliberately putting up junk to force a neighbour to sell their land to you at less than market value should be worth a suspension if not banning. Both Biffy Pendragon and whichever w-hat member is responsible should answer for this.

From: Ned Ludd Look we were working on it last night and we almost got it nailed down as the pictures we posted show. There was absolutely no reason to post a topic like this over a border dispute. Like there was no reason to litter that place in that way? Come on... From: Ahkin Pierce I am learning so much! WHo put all those for sale boxes (HUGE ) in mowry? I wish I could get on in game. I tried to take a picture in my house there and All i was getting for backgrounds was for sale signs lol. I cant wait to see who the Land Baron(ness ) of that is. Now now, since i saw a lot of complaints about Anshe's for sale signs, i went to mowry to look for some, to see the "uglyness" with my own eyes. A picture of the result is attached here. First of all its not that big, i made a riough measurement of them and using the same prims and stretched to the limit they could be twice as big. The shape looks kinda cute and stylish and sure shows some more building effort than the usual signs i see used by other landsellers, moreover the flowers at the bottom are really a nice touch. Just another little random thought, big "For sale" signs help selling the land faster, and when the land is sold, the sign goes (in fact the land in mowry is almost completely sold). simple.

Actually, the topic was posted over the crap you dumped on HER land, not the thing over the border. That was added on as an addional greivence, but the main topic was your stuff all over her land. (not just on the edge, in other words. What was in the pic did not look like a club that needed rotating) From: Lecktor Hannibal What defines junk to the LAND OWNER???? How is this any different than what she does when she "beautifies" a sim with her friggin signs??? Um... what are you saying? See what I wrote above. The problem was what you put on her land, not on your own. And not what she puts on her own. Now if she put her sign on YOUR land, then you have a point.

From: Cubey Terra Both Biffy Pendragon and whichever w-hat member is responsible should answer for this. WAIT A SECOND THERE MISTER. Don't come around here with your "logic" and "fairness" nonsense and try to say individuals should be responsible for their own actions. This was clearly the fault of every single member of that group and they should all be banned and maybe set on fire and shot into space.

From: Ned Ludd For this to be extortion that would mean we would have to predict Anshe buying that plot months into the future because thats about how long we've had this plot like this. Quit calling it extortion because it is not. It is buyers remorse. Can you clarify the statement about owning the land for months. The picture in the first post in this thread shows the land being acquired very recently, which would seem to backup the original post. Please explain the discrepency.

From: Ingrid Ingersoll I guess if this is the kind of stuff you put on your land on a regular basis, then you're going to expect a negative reaction from your neighbours, its a simple as that. I don't believe in telling people what they should have or shouldn't on their own land, but come on.. exercise some judgement.
And if you don't feel like it, then just eat the criticism and love it. Normally, that is just what we would do. However, someone seems to be trying to get us banned/disbanded/whatever for something we have always done by saying that it is our recent plan to extort land out of them. W-Hat is a big sandbox for it's members, we have wildly different tastes than you all, but that isn't a crime. Also, about the bans we've had to deal with... So far no Linden has been able to tell us what we've done to get banned. In fact the people who have been spoken to admit that in one rencent case there is no evidence at all and yet some of us had a 3 day ban. But we don't go start threads about it here so you wouldn't know.

Um... what are you saying? See what I wrote above. The problem was what you put on her land, not on your own. And not what she puts on her own. Now if she put her sign on YOUR land, then you have a point. First of all MS. Mizzie I put nothing on her land. Second of all do some research in these forums about the sim trash I speak of before you attack me mmkay ? All you have to do is search on posts by Anshe and you will see. My point stands with a lot of the population and is the sole source of the lack of sympathy for her you see here today. Have a nice day.

Rich have Equal Rights
01-14-2005 13:45
I am not rich in RL or SL. And I think Anshe still deserves the law (TOS) in this case to be on her side. So, if a rich person IRL has a neighbor who breaks laws, they should hire the mafia to get rid of them? Or have to buy their neighbor's property? The TOS applies to everyone. Not just poor people. If this was the other way around, and Anshe was a poor unknown SL member, people would be up in arms on her side. And, sadly, I am a member of W-Hat. Seeing the land last night and now this screenshot, I will have to leave the group. This is pure harrassment and I have no desire to associate with harrassers. I'd leave now but my employer doesn't appreciate 3rd party software on their network

Problem is that she is not trying to scare other people off, but to actually bring them in. There is a little but decisive difference.

Well when I moved into Mowry I had no idea the next day there would be a gun shop next door and a week later a whore house behind me and then ne more week Later "For Sale BOXES all over in every Angle - Luckily it did work and some great people moved in all around. I have posted it is a sad thing Happening ..i mean it is kinda a shitty tactic. But is she living there or is it just empty land waiting for a buyer?

From: Ned Ludd We aren't trying to scare anyone off and we do bring them in. We get a lot of dwell. You guys scared ME off by buying the land around my little 512 plot and putting ban lines all around it. I can't believe that you still say you're not trying to scare folks off. So what if your Dwell is large, that has nothing to do with it, it just shows that a lot of your group members spend time on the land. Pshhh.
