Babies are a bad investment in a capitalist society.

I just want equality Sally. Under the current laws, men don't get it. Hell we get the shaft form every angle if we're white too.
Affirmative action - even if the caucasian is better qualified, hire minority or women. History months/weeks - don't see a causcasian month..or male history month (current 'normal' history is world history, not male history or white history) Minority grants to colleges - so you got 3 thousand just because you were born with a uterus/dark skin tone? So tell me.. would a grant for 'whites' be accepted or called racist? Would a club devoted to straights be called homophobic? Would a mens only grant be called acceptable or sexist? You balance the rights..give everyone equal status..I fight for those equal rights and when it comes to these parts I'm 'holding back society.' WTF? Here I thought actually caring about equality was good. And yes, I'd like to have a uterus..I'd want to know the experience of motherhood, but I won't. I never will. So why should that chance make it easier for you to violate my rights as a human being? |

Oh, if abortion is made illegal, just think of all the child support payments men will have to make....

You have failed to grasp the basics of equal rights..of course i don't agree with what you have to say.
there should be laws requiring a mother to get the fathers agreement before havign a child. period. yes there will be alot of stupid males getting women pregnant but there are an equal amount of stupid women who 'play' with those males |

Not only are you pro-abortion, you're in favor of giving fathers the right to coerce one? Your argument does make sense then. ----- Hmmm, no takers on my previous troll. _____________________

I'm in favor of giving men the equal right of an abortion, if only in the financial sense, Ananda.
Too long have men been held responsible fully even for accidents whereas a woman could get an abortion. Hard choice, yes, but equal choice is equal choice. |

You two are so clever... ![]() No, just logical. Carrying your logic to its conclusion leads me to believe you think robbery is a personal choice, only between the robber and his conscience. I'm against it, I would never do it, but who am I to judge? Now that we verified you have no right to keep your money, the robber is within his right to take it from you. There should be no laws against it, because we know robbery will keep on happening. We must seek to make it safer for the robber, because robbery can be dangerous when victims and cops shoot at them. |

Ouch! days later and you are still in pain and grumpy from that vasectomy? You should probably return to your physician, perhaps you got an infection or something; it should have healed some by this point. It's amazing you have so much to say and so little to contribute to the discussion. Do you practice these skills? |

Why are you putting on a fake sob show? If it's not fake why do people always think the grass is greener on the other side? THAT'S IT! I sentence all women to play the male role for a month and all men to play the female role for a month and if men end up having sex with your feminine selves dressed up in high heels and makeup, you're gay. Seriously, from birth if you had to choose your race, your gender what would you choose? I'll tell you your advantages and disadvantages Dungeons and Dragons style....well close enough so go on tell me. |

Yet logic -should- apply to the rights issue. Emotion should be thrown out the window on it..otherwise we end up overcompensating..huting those whose ancestors had oppressed, or denying equal rights to thsoe born one way because the other group used to be oppressed..
oh wait thats what we have now |

I would still probably be male Azazel, and won't deny it. But its not relevant. Equal is equal regardles sof emotions, no, women should not get more rights than men.

The argument that women deserve more because of the birthing procedure etc, is an emotional one. Not logical.
