I was going to try and explain how thoroughly wrecked society would get if men were rewarded for such an extreme level of irresponsibility as this, but nevermind.
I find myself more ashamed than ever of my "Y" chromosome. ![]() _____________________

Now heres a kicker: go back to the original thread. read the article tell me if you think this man should have to pay? If he can prove that he in fact wanted her to get an abortion or did not want to be a father, then no he shouldn't have to pay. There are tons of fathers that do up and leave already even though it is illegal, claimed they would be supportive but oops they slipped and fell on another woman and their dick got stuck inside of her so he leaves the pregnant female behind to pay for everything and take care of the kid. That is why if this were to become legal, the male should be placed under the same time limit the female is placed for having an abortion. If he knows he doesn't want to be a father and she didn't take the birth control pills and she won't get an abortion then he can opt out during a set time because if he opts out when she is 9 months pregnant then it's most likely the case that the male claimed he would be supportive but then met someone else and leaves the mother screwed because partial abortion is now illegal. If the man wants the woman to keep the baby but the woman wants to abort, the unborn child is technically in her body and she shouldn't be forced to keep the child if she doesn't want to. If people were mature enough they would discuss these issues. They would both talk about children, talk about their views on abortion because people need to get over the illusion that "Oh it'll never happen to me". What part of sex leads to pregnancy do people not understand? Who is the real victim in all of this? The children. This type of selfishness and immature behavior of adults has a negative toll on children so let's say a parent raises their kid to not be violent, their set of good morals and then the child goes into school and *poof* your parenting doesn't matter much anymore if other parents didn't pay attention to their kids, if other parents let their kids run around with knives and guns, didn't teach them to respect others because your child spends 13 years in school learning and picking up others behaviors as well as their teachers psycho political babble. It's a chain of consequences so if that is what we want, then so be it. Live your life, be as selfish as you want, care about yourself and your rights just know with everything there is the downside and the upside and if you don't mind the downside, go for it. Abortion has it's downside and it's upside. Not all women come out the winners either. |

Insane logic rules the day. Where is the reward for women??? Let's see.... Women have irresponsible sex and what happens... She gets the reward of being able to back out of parenthood, unlike men. She can use it as a way to get a man to marry her, and don't tell me it doesn't happen. She can make a guy support her choice to be a mother, even if he was not willing to accept fatherhood yet. No matter how careful the man is, his choices are limited to no sex or possible perenthood against his will. But that's all fair to the feminists. |
