Wooo Weee!!! (hmm to think of a question) Jake, when will 1.9.1 be released? The next time you desperately need to get on the grid because you absolutely must do something very important right now! _____________________

Do I have a handsome penis? I don't know personally, but rumor has it your penis looks very dapper in a tuxedo-even though it always looks longer in the movies. _____________________

Dear Jake,
If we are presumed innocent in this country why should someone have to post bail to stay out of jail before a trial? And does that person get their bail money back once they appear in court? Thanks, -Kiamat Dusk _____________________

Dear Jake, If we are presumed innocent in this country why should someone have to post bail to stay out of jail before a trial? And does that person get their bail money back once they appear in court? Thanks, -Kiamat Dusk Well the short answer is for the same reason you have to pay taxes before you get a refund..the government does not trust you with its money. The long answer is that bail has nothng to do with your innocence or guilt, it has to do with your status as a flight risk. A lot of factors go into setting bail, and the severity of the crime and potential verdict are only part of it. In theory anyone can be released on thier own recognizance without bail, but as a practical matter, bail is usually set for most all felonies. Bail, in theory guanrantees your appearance at the arraingment and trial. Yes when you appear in court, or when you are sentneced, depending on the conditions of the bail, the money is returned to you. Thus if your family posted 100,000 in cash as bail, they would get it back. Mor typically, the services of a bail bondsman are used. For a percentage of the bail, the bail bondsman posts a bond with the court. The fee to the bondsman is not returned however, just the amount of the bond. Of course if you don't show up, the bail bond is forfiet until you do appear..this is why bail bondsmen are bounty hunters as well. If you skip town, its thier cash on the line. _____________________

What are you getting me for Mother's Day? A white sport coat and a pink carnation, so you can participate in the great peanutbutter conspiracy while livin it up with juicyfruit in margaritaville. You can explore the changes in lattitudes, changes in attitudes while watching the cuban crime of passion in that one particular harbor in the banana republic. So get on the cocoanut telegraph and reserve a table to eat the last mango in paris with the blonde stranger. Thats why we wader and follow la vie dansant. _____________________

I hate that movie... And your question was? There is a rule here, you must ask a question or you will be spanked. I have secret teams of commandos to hunt you down in-world. If you wish to pontificate mercilessly, and for everyone to share your own opinions and always be correct, you must get your own thread. This is my thread, and I have weathered through the competitors, my own indolence, and well as my one disdain for the manner in which the resmod system was implimented. Still SL is one of the most effective entertainment devices ever, and its as much fun to see where it is being taken next as it is to argue about whether or not it is a game. So ask a question. But really your opinion on the movie, or any movie is sort of meaningless in a thread called Ask Jake Anything. _____________________

But really your opinion on the movie, or any movie is sort of meaningless in a thread called Ask Jake Anything. I have come to the understanding that most all opinions in the SL forums are meaningless - making them unbelievably enjoyable all of a sudden ![]() _____________________

Gosh... I would love to not ask any question... in hopes of meeting the goon squad mentioned before and collecting my spanking; but I only just this morning publically proclaimed that I don't play the brat roll to get treats.

^^ this thread hasnt forgotten about me after all. ![]() I am going to have to spank you Collete, you know the rules about questions. You are, of course, unforgetable. However much I love to bask in your tenderness, however, there are people here who simply will not ask questions and need to be disciplined. _____________________

Have you tried asking? I am also sure there are plenty of fellow residents who like to administer spankings, judging by the popularity of the BDSM scene in SL as well as all things Gorean. Simply explore the find box, and you will undoubtable find someone who will give you the spanking you crave. _____________________

Hey Jake
this last weekend, Stephen Colbert "roasted" GW Bush at the correspondents dinner you can find a bit more info here this dinner was broadcast on C-Span a video linked in the thread of the event hosted on yourtube has now removed the video for "copyright violation" now I am fairly sure the whole dinner was paid for by taxpayers, and I am certain that cspan is owned by taxpayers since all footage is the property of the citizens of the USA, you can't , for instance, use CSpan to promote your "theater" (excluding bush press conferences) now the question is a multi part question. Am I correct 1) Who owns the footage? 2) Would this be in the national archives? 3) If yes to #2, don't we the people own the footage? 4) If Yes to #3, How do I aquire the footage with full rights, as I know I am able to do with say, NASA footage 5) Your thoughts and any precedent? I will not tolerate this being scrubbed from history. Bush got served to his face. By a master. If I paid for that footage, I want rights to that broadcast that footage. Thank you for your time Mulch Maker _____________________

How many seasons of 24 will there actually be? 8. After 8 seasons they will not be able to sustain the wrinting at all, and the episone where fonzi jumps the shark will make no sense, fans will be lost. Besides how much can happen to a guy in 24 hours? _____________________

Whats the point? the long answer will take a bit of digging, i'll have to get back to you. _____________________
