I do get a lot of teens deported to TG, I have an alt that does this when I'm bored (parked at various infohubs). The children who I've seen mostly had child av's, furry av's or terrorist (ok put some game/movie character with gun and a big bad sign) avs. None of them were normal avs. Put yourself back to when you were a kid, would have liked to use a grown up av or use something that's more familier and cute? (like furry). What 14 year old do you know? Chrsit when I was fourteen we wanted to smake dope, drop acid and be rock stars baning hundreds of hot babes. Where is the world you live in where a r fourteen year old wants to be a furry because is familiar? _____________________

personally i think both sides are messed up.
Child av sex can be seen as wrong, but, they are two adults behind their charade. Is this any less disgusting that pretending to murder someone in a play, or be entertained by a movie that has violence? This is virtual reality, the greatest problem is people who try limit and forcefully change it to their personal wants and make their wants the standards for which everyone else must obey. This is wrong. I might not agree with certain themes that my values might considered wrong, but, i will never be a nazi and force my will on others. Virtual Reality is honestly the last frontier of real freedom that people can have. Good or evil? its all grey in a reality that is no more real than the virtual apple you eat or the people you kill in games like warcraft and postal. They are grown adults in SL, they own their own land, their own privacy, their own games and entertainment. Would you like it if someone were to come into your house and tell you that you should never be able to kill another cockaroach or ant that infests your kitchen? Mankind has an interesting nature, often to take pleasure in the things we consider taboo. Watching a move with sex, violence, forbidden love... its all to quench that desire that humans have to do the things they cannot do or will not do. Video games offer no less, and we take entertainment from it. It is part of human culture in general. Studies have proven that games have quenched those desires than make them unstable and real, for the most part, if someone feels like being wicked, instead of make it real in their real world, they can achieve this through the virtual and satisfy or negate that from becoming a reality. So i see both sides, but im not ignorant enough to go nazi and force my beliefs on others, or selfishly try to destroy what many consider the last frontier of freedom. |

I for one dont agree with age play and child like AVs are not allowed in the area my Partner and i run. It was said that many child like AVs are kids well i have found this not to be so. I have come across a 16 yr old that had a Pam Anderson look alink AV, yesterday I had a noob in the grounds and learnt it was a 14yr old girl. The day before I had seen here involved with several other ppl in acts no child should be. As soon as i learnt of her age she was removed and reported.
Maybe if Lindens are not going to return to the old way of signing up then those that are not members be restricted and not allowed into the Mature area. |
