ROFL, Oh I had some flashbacks to another SIMulation when I saw this picture:

Btw, I really do like your home Octal, I hope I have time soon to drop by and take a look.

The chess club
11-18-2005 13:27
I've turned my home in a chess club. Upper floor is lounge, a playable board, champion bios and games (via the web), some chess links and problems. You can pick the free SL Chess table here too.

The big board downstairs plays famous games (currently Larsen-Spassky 1970, Larsen gets routed in 17 moves !!). There's also the sudoku board I just finished scripting.

I like very open spaces where the fact that we can fly is put to good use :).

This is my lil place on the river in the middle of Fujin(122, 120). The shack not the brick thing, just the one in front painted in primer. Someday I'll figure out what color I want it and add a coat of that.
It mostly looks like that because I Googled for bait shops and that one looked possible.
When you touch it the wall show starts. The animated textures make it apear to be moving if your inside. It's always unlocked anyones welcome just touch the shack and it invites you inside to ride the hydrolic couch. To get the hydrolics to start you need to touch the door once. Those are my venders on the pier. Theres a box of free stuff on the bench out front too, My promo package Beer Cannon and Beer Shooter and Beer Eats Bait Boat Shop ashtray and of course a fine Snaily Beer that makes you a little loopy after about 4 drinks I think.

The Hedonist HQ
11-20-2005 04:07
I don't technically have a house - but I DO have a home of sorts :D
My Partner GM (Grey Mars) created the the structure for the Hedonist HQ in Lakeville. (75, 113)

I bought prime waterfront mature and made the most of it. The picture I have is the view from the water as you sail on by. There are now sailable water sims right off the docks - feel free to rez your boats and have at it!

You can see the sunset balcony that leads into the HQ main area, the open air Club Hedon to the left, and below that the docks and the deck w/swimming pool and hot tub area.

For a picture of the front - just pull up my profile picks :p I don't seem to have downloaded one yet. The main HQ area has transparent walls from the inside, so you can see the sunsets over the water, as well as enjoy the view of the garden, sandbox and peek in what's happening at the Club.

The HQ also has a place for Tinies to hangout - swings, dances and dance floor, hot tub and more :) Ariel's meditation garden and (sim) sandbox are right next door. Naturally we have a store - with GM's amazing stuff, and BC Boutique favorites and even some of historical Brace Creations gear

The Hedonist HQ is a public venue open to everyone and anyone - there are no doors - just curtains wafting in the breeze and the front window is flythrough. hope you can stop by for a visit! :D

The Mansion i built,i was sooo happy with, but we ended up exceeding our prim allocation when it came to decorating it,so its going back in my pocket until we can afford more land :'(

The Log house is our favorite so far,it fitted in perfectly with our land. Felt so homley. :D

Here's mine, I didn't build it because I'm untalented, lazy, and don't have alot of time to play in SL anyway:

Yes, your house is hands down the most beautiful house. I am sorry I did not give credit. I did not know if you would be impressed or not with the attempt I made with it. I am glad you like it. I can only hope one day to be half the craftsman you are.

A little minka (Japanese farmhouse) that I have been using as a home. I seem to be a perpertual state of tinkering and re-texturing it with my latest drive to create all new textures from scratch. Sounds like a real nice idea until you get halfway through, close Photoshop and then forget what settings you were using for hue, saturation, opacity, etc. *cry*

I don't really care for the current shoji doors, thatch roof or woodwork on the beams. Oh, those are prim beams. A little two-room farmhouse should "only" be 130-150 prims once it's really complete. :)

Might as well post Rose's and my home, please note, it is far from finished. The view is from the rear of the residance. Our home is in Benicia on almost 28.000sq.m of land, facing 3 void sims. When I get more of the interior finished, and the front landscaped, i'll post pics of the rest.

Enjoy, :D

under construction! First level nearly done, 729 prims only! LOL!
Four levels to go... based on the real Pagoda.

When first saw it and it's level of detail, I thought, "I wonder how far you'll get." :)

Well, I have two choices; sandbox, or doing each level separately. I have only 1100 prims or so to play with on my land...

Aonce done, I hope some sim owner will take up the building as showcase...
