Still under construction. Trying to get all the contractors to show up on time and do the work right is a full-time job. We're closing on the house by the end of March 2006, if all goes as planned.

I have a very amusing (to my friends at least) habit of clearing my land every few weeks or so... so here are some pictures of my latest house, before I delete it.

...posting this in the homes thread to illustrate a Law Society thread, since we don't have attachments in that forum yet.

Many thanks to Justice Soothsayer for sending the set of law books with link to the US Supreme Court library. They're now installed in what I'll claim to be my home for the purposes of this thread. : D

It's a monumental civic type building with architectural detail implemented in prim work. Trying to custom create every texture for this structure makes me appreciate the work that goes into a texture like a stone wall. This takes a startling amount of time, but it's worth doing to get the subtlety photorealistic textures don't provide.

My home is a little short of amenities, but it has one %^&*@#$ of a garage on the mid level for my new Dominus Shadow. It's at Miramare (111, 111, 111).

This is the castle that First and I have in the sky at TeaZer Isle. Aeranyth Peregrine built it for us (name given with permission). She did an awesome job on it, we love it. :D

Aeranyth has a wizardress's touch -- she's very good at evoking a magical atmosphere. Glad you and First gave her permission to show off your home when it was still under construction. It's always interesting to see how different Aeranyth's approach is from my own building with the calculator. : )

I'll include an exterior pic of my current home at Miramar(111, 111, 111) to accompany my last post. Here's the view from the plaza/urban park looking up. You can see the top two thirds of the tower above the trees.

The building has a floating platform too, for a landing zone and a great view of the other towers and the sea in Miramare. You can see how the small platform was constructed to echo the restrained slightly sculptural style of the building. There's more floor area than is apparent, but the extra floor prims are textured clear on all sides except the top.

Home in Nemesis

Found this thread today...here is a picture of our home in Nemesis. I built it for Oclee and as a homage to Corbusier.... The temptation to turn everything into a castle is almost overwhelming...but I am fighting it....

Excellent builds

Wow, I'm really impressed! Everyone's builds are absolutely fabulous.
Everything I build tends to turn into a castle also. The first is my dinky castle, the second was built for a friend. It is still a work in progress!

Well, technically it's my mommy's home, but I live there.
