salazar, i love the modernist villa. we should talk about the stilts though! :D

Oh the stilts! They do look a bit jarring. It wasn't an easy choice when I decided to put my house on pilings, but it did serve two purposes:

1) It raised the level of the driveway to match the road that runs by my house so, in theory, I could drive straight into my carport. Now I just need to get the Lindens to remove a jersey barrier!

2) It left that portion of Vari Reef Beach unobstructed so folks could walk along the shore more easily.

Two other benefits are that Ragnar's view of the horizon is not obscured by my house as much and the view from inside my house is more dramatic since you are up off the ground.

Ideally, I would have liked to have placed this structure directly on urtahra. I had intended for this to be a temporary location, but now it's starting to grow on me. Of course that may change if I find the perfect spot.

This is my humble abode in Midnight City, as designed by Aimee Weber:

I don't live here anymore, but for a (very) short time, I had a home in Arosa (one of the snow sims). Had to sell it to tier down.

Sadly, I had to tier back up recently. It wouldn't have made a big difference if I'd kept it.

Here's my castle in Callisto - The House of the Mead Moon. My neighbor's Club Waterfall is right behind it.

We had a wedding there last night at 11:30 - Sim FPS was 1, the bridesmaids ended up in a heap at the altar. Eggy was ALMOST the FlowerPerson/Ring Bearer - but those pictures I'm saving for blackmail purposes at a later date. (No, seriously, he was ADORABLE).

Callisto, the most lagged Sim in game...but I love it anyway.

Here's my home in Tharu. I'm going to extend the railing all around the dock because my guests seem to like pushing me into the water.

I have loved looking at all your houses.

Here is the home of my sister Ellen Fauna and me in our Mexican village, San Miguelito in Atlas.

This is so awesome. You have to check it out.

New and Improved Bird Cage ^_^
10-25-2004 12:25
Now with over 3x the floor space, and easier access, the last cage was a bit small for a bir d of Psyra's size. This is MUCH more down his alley. :D

(Scroll back to Page One for a pic of the ORIGINAL cage... you can see the difference) :)

That's someone that just bought and wore my shadowhawk avi in there.... they look so TINY now in that cage! In the old cage they'd be able to touch the corner cage walls with each wingtip. ^^

This is a cool thread, getting to see people's builds without having to fly all over the place :)

I tend to build homes for fun and then take them down to start over. I wanted to try building without angled edges and I came up with this. Still playing with it.

Thanks Ingrid.

Cadroe I really like that house, very clean and simple, yet I can tell it was probably not simple to make! I can never get round things to line up right. Very to my taste! :)

Thanks, Ingrid and Barnesworth :) B.A., I made the top part copyable (in chunks) if you feel like checking out how it fits together (Bodega 175, 20). The one tricky part was the torus wedges at the corners.
