I would go further to suggest that any depiction of violent death or mutilation that is either taken from reality or attempts to simulate reality should be banned from SL.

If it's more along the lines of Itchy and Scratchy, then it's acceptable, I suppose.

The whole concept of SL is based on Snow Crash, for goodness sake! And, by the way, last time I checked SL is not the real world so "real world policy" does not apply inside SL. LL will comply with real world laws (like the ones on gambling), but beyond that, Phillip's vision seems vastly different from yours. Why not go make your own policed version of SL if you don't like the Linden vision based on Snow Crash?

I mean look at them, most have all the earmarks of a good sci-fi/fantasy story in them!

But on topic:

Sexual Age Play was banned due to legal concerns

There are no applicable laws that would ban this content, therefore LL will not intervene

If the content does not fit your likes, then avoid it.

Ban legal content is a good way to start a trend where content may be the next one on the ban list.
