I tink curiosity has finally gotten the better of me, too.

It's Wookiees, don't let one catch you saying it wrong, he might rip your arm out and beat you over your head, in SL they are welcome where other furries are welcome too, in SW nobody in their right mind tries to stop a wookiee from going anywhere, droids on the other hand are not alowed in most cantinas, especialy astromechs. the reason is simple, you never know who the droid might be spying for, could be a Hutt or the aliance or maybe even a dark jedi.
Holy crap! I never knew that the whole Star Wars franchise was just a re-write of John Norman!

Hmmmm....I never thought of that. Wookies do seem to resemble Kurrii.

Someday… People will be able to judge you by who you are, which is a being worthy of a chance to prove yourself and show them who you are and not to base it on what you look like or how people perceive you to be based on what you have, how you look, what you wear….

Oh please.

Dragon, dear, you are a right nutter. I haven't seen a bit of straight thinking out of you since the thread started.

Firstly: You read the rules of the place, but act all surprised and indignant when you are asked to obey them.

Secondly: You argue with people who are sympathetic to your cause and try to give you good advice.

Thirdly: Your own rules are inconsistent. Dragons don't wear ANY clothes. Clothes are a human invention. Moreover, there is no reason other than perversion for a dragon to want to look "provocative" in the human fashion. Get your mind out of the gutter, straighten up and be a reptile, for gods sake!

Fourth: The post quoted above. In Second Life, the "person you truly are" IS the person you look like. Your appearance is a personal choice, not a matter of genetics and environment. If "who you are" ISN'T what you look like, then I suggest you do a little work on your appearance until it is.

If people don't accept you, you have two choices: Change yourself to be more acceptable, or go find some more accepting people. It's that simple.

[EDIT: I just saw 3Ring's picture of you. I suggest the first option. To be perfectly frank, you could use a serious makeover.]

Oh, and IBTL. :)

Somehow, when ever you think the middle ages occurred, leather 'chaps' were usually worn over pants. In all the fairytale and Fantasy books I have read, I have never heard of dragons wearing such gear. While this is SL (Your world, your imagination), doesn't quite fit Avilion.

I had completely forgotten about that book until I read the wiki on it. I must have been in high school still when I read it.

We have a restaurant here that if you wear a tie, they cut it off just below the knot and nail it to the wall.

... we now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.

Pinnacle Peak!

Having read only half the thread so far, I'm still confused as to what exactly are human poser dragons? Like, people pretending to be dragons? Most dragons I know have problems with the keyboard...

So I had to google IBTL to figure out what it was.
IBTL! :D

Yeah but an IBTL is not worth max points unless it is actually the last post before the lock and only worth half points if it's the last IBTL in the thread, using IBTL too early makes you look like a noob :P

I disagree. IBTL get's points for being the last post before the lock, but it's purpose is to mildly mock the OP - thus being the first response to the OP get's maximum points, regardless of how many posts come after it as being the first response highlights how silly an OP's post is.

IBTL also has a law of diminishing returns proportional to the number of IBTLs in a thread. Using IBTL early does not make you look like a noob - far from it; by getting into the thread and using IBTL immediately, you have shown mild contempt for the OP's post and started the derailment process.
