How do you avoid the 16kb memory limit? I tried stacking a bunch of animations into a non-sex AO, varying standing and walking poses... and I kept erroring out. Its a good thing I was doing it with a free AO base at the time, as overstuffing the AO was destroying my ability to further edit it too, and remove the errors.


I find it curious that so many here want their SL sex to be full of emotion, commitment, bonding, and so on. For me, that's what RL is for. I come into SL and I just want my avatar to have a quick 'shag' and get tossed around a little.
- heck, at least with the males, I usually want to tell them to be quiet - most of them are annoying to me anyway. Male ego just grates on me... Its kind of weird - its all cartoon, but its also purely and solely physical with them. Not sure I know how to explain that...
- very different with women. I love to get chatty, but the SL sex is still just virtual-sex; a shag of sorts. I'd be horrified if someone wanted it to go further.

Obviously the money spent to subsidize the new stadium is the first of many steps to change the way we use Football and to change the way it is percieved. Football has become the perfect media in which to ignore your RL partner's needs, and however we like to deny it having an favorite Football team, going to games with the guys, buying a jersey, watching the games and all the rest of it that Football promotes is cheating.

As people become more involved in their football-fan live's doing pointless things like setting up a fantasy team, going to sports bars and ESPN etc and generall chatting to other sad sports geeks their real life suffers terribly.

In 3 years time nobody will want to be associated with this kind of insanity and the disgusting behaviour of it's residents

the funny thing about football and baseball and any other sport that my BF gets into is when he tries his hardest to get me to enjoy it lol

I've always been a sports enthusiast so that's never a problem. I'm usually right there with them yelling and screaming, and I'm just as apt to make him get up and get me a beer. It helps when I want him to go with me to The Opera or a Symphony. You have to give to get.

Quite possibly Phil means football of the Association kind, rather than the American kind. Association football (what Americans call 'soccer') is actual FOOTball. As in, played with the feet. American football is played mainly with the hands. Like rugby, but with padding

i thought soccer was called Futball over there..he likes to hit and be hit i think more than anything lol
he played Fooball and rugby and still does play rugby..he would play both still if they had a mens league for football around here..

i really don't know why rugby hasn't caught on as far as TV over here..
that i do enjoy to watch..maybe it's because i can tell who is who and i know his teammates..

football you can never tell who is who when you are at those games..

You're not alone in that approach

Sex in SL is the opportunity to spin a shared fantasy ... and it's the interaction, the spontaneity, and the pleasure of being on a wavelength with the person on the other end that makes it more interesting than fantasizing by one's self.

Animations can be goofy, they can be amusing, they can be inspiring ... sometimes they can be distracting. But they aren't the point. SL sex is not a substitute for or equivalent to RL sex, but that doesn't mean it's without value. And especially between two people whose opportunities to do what they fantasize about together are severely limited in RL, for whatever reasons, SL sex can be a relief, an escape, and a delight.

You are pretty much on target as far as I am concerned. It really can be quite stimulating, sometimes rereading an encounter is more enjoyable than the first time around. It can also be just fun. That's where the "quick shag and getting thrown around" comes in.

Over the years I've spent a fair amount of time online in a state of disarray - From java sex chat rooms, through IRC, the odd friend on some messenger or other, through to the 3d lagfest of SL. That said, a recent evening with a friend was done without any animations, all text - And was incredibly arousing and led to a very satisfying night. And I think that's because SL and animations can be the foreplay as it were to the fleeting connection between two people. Not two AVs, but the people behind them. Whether you're just needing some stimulation for a quick release, or looking for a mind blowing intense experience, you depend on the other person to work with you to create that moment

I always consider sex in SL to be a shared thing. Is it sex? Sometimes, with a partner that absolutely clicks with me, I suppose it is, or at least as close as can be had without actual company. Often it's.. mutual masturbation, no bad thing of course. Frequently, in clubs particularly, it's starting as a wank, and tp'ing out as the mood is lost in a sea of poseball hopping and the odd lines of mmmm.
