You missed the point of my prior post. There is no grounds for telling someone to remove or delete gambling stuff under the wagering policy. They can have it. They just can't use it. It is the ACT of gambling that is prohibited not mere ownership of gambling machines or having them out. You can't provide amnesty from punishment when there is no punishable act occuring.

It was only a matter of time. Already we've got the Holocaust mentioned, I'm just waiting for someone to invoke Godwin's Law.

By the time people become adults they've had the supposed superiority of all things USA drilled into their heads so much that most people believe it unquestioningly... and they have an incentive to believe it because it appeals to people's innate tribalistic tendencies. It's a lot like a religion in that it makes people very intolerant of dissenting points of view. The US certainly isn't the only country polluted by that kind of unthinking nationalism though. It's pretty common throughout the world, and most countries have their favorite bad guy too.

Nationality is irrelevant. We're all victims of xenophobic comments from time to time, regardless of where we're born. I've had it for being British, even though I don't make an issue of that (I'm no nationalist by any stretch of the imagination). I even had a five minute lecture from some guy once about how ashamed I should be of my Italian roots, even though I'm not Italian at all. I just said arrivederci to somebody apparently. Oh, and he thought I was flirting with his girlfriend. Go figure.

If second life close casinos and gambling is prohibited. I suppose this is because they not pay taxes to the government. I have a question:

Is second life users paying taxes to the government for the objects that people sell and buy in the shops? NO , true?

In this case linden labs must close all shops in second life too! or only sell objects made by linden labs and they must pay the taxes of each sale too. Because when you do it you are using real money too. We buy lindens with real money.

Remember that casinos have a lot of camping areas , and all people that use it for win lindens now must be really angry... Shops have few good camping areas.

A lot of people don't wish have a premium account and pay. And in my opinion, with the money of a premium account you don't have enough money for all things a normal user wish buy.

Perhaps linden labs must change of country and go to a tax haven... or at least implement a system that can make gambling , sploders , etc... legal in second life if don't wish lose a lot of users that have fun playing games and with sploders at the disco etc. Sploders and raffle balls are great to attract people to your place and by far better than lucky chairs for this.
