Vir, speaking as a person who maintains privacy for occupational requirements, be very careful about WHO you give information to.
I am quite sincere about that. |

Anybody got any more news onto whether or not Integrity is actually going to be the provider? Anybody got any thoughts on why we should be so worried throughout most of Europe when there are stringent data-protection acts in place? Linden Signs Integrity Services for age verification This would depend upon where we're sending the data. If we give up our data to an American company then I don't see how the European data protection act protects us one iota. If on the other hand we give our data to a European arm, then that data would be subject to our data protection laws. However I'm concerned that I don't know what's in it for integrity. I'm not going to play along with this. LL have my details, they have a financial audit trail all the way back to me already, they don't need anything more. |

Anybody got any thoughts on why we should be so worried throughout most of Europe when there are stringent data-protection acts in place? what's so bad about allowing the export of your data to the US? unlike over here, the company storing it may disclose it "to any Government entity, regulatory authority or to any person [they] reasonably think necessary" for the purpose of preventing money laundering, terrorist acts, etc. what's so bad about letting the american government snoop on your personal data? cough. _____________________
