I had an attachment I bought in the beginning (which I now never use). Of course it doesn't match the skin (sigh). I decided to zoom in on a small section of my skin and take a screenshot. Then, I would edit the screenshot in Photoshop and upload it into Second Life. I could then apply that texture to my attachment. Then I thought...close enough! I'm obsessing over fake, cartoon genetalia on the internet!

Is there a slider bar somewhere that I don't know about? Well, not that I would know, but right click/edit, then adjust the color accordingly, just like any other prim object. Helps if you are wearing it because the color matching is easier. Xcite parts come with a board that has a series of colors on them, but they are only good for getting close or making it some ridiculous weird color. They don't actually match anything. Lexxi - Thank you. I feel much better now. I can't stop laughing, but I definitely feel better. The force is strong within you... I suppose I may as well 'fess up and admit that I match in most lighting. _____________________

Hmmm so you match then. Thats interesting. So it is possible? Is yours lighted then? I think it looks damn good, but then again that's probably just me being a typical guy, thinking with it. Once at a campfire it was all wrong. The light from that direction was hitting it and the rest of me very differently, only when I was facing the fire. That's the only time and place I ever thought it looked wrong. So I don't know if it's lighted. I'd have to read the 10 pages of this thread a little closer to catch what you all were talking about. |
