Yet at least one ticket filed after 11 am with completely empty land it appears was processed!! Yeah - this is what I thought would happen...

From: Elanthius Flagstaff Where did the 600 number come from? I saw a few speculative guesses but nothing semi-official. In post : From: Charlene Linden (in Live Support Chat) Charlene Linden: The tickets are being handled in the order they are received. You are absolutely right about the 300 tickets in 10 minutes but that was not the end of it. We have almost 600 now... and these will take weeks to work through. FWIW, I checked my three top picks and few backup parcels I'd identified, and so far they're still unclaimed. In fact, I was surprised at how little was assigned so far, despite the several here whose top three have gone--and despite the several Lindens presumably assigned to working the ticket queue. I did see one guy who'd won a huge swath of land and already set up banlines around one of the parcels--with, of course, nothing within 50m of ground and a skybox at several thousand meters where he and a visitor were presumably preparing to do something Adult. (And this moron appears to script vehicles--for which banlines are just the thing. )

ticket filed at 10.12 - still new

Filed our ticket at 10.12 and it's still tagged as 'NEW' - but it seems our 3 choices have already been allocated... hmmm... wonder what happens next. This is a bit like reading a mystery novel with every second page or so missing. Deep Joy

From: Melita Magic Are tickets still open only for those who currently have 'adult content' in the mainland and wish a trade or a move to Zindra?
Or can the general public begin requesting parcels too? Umm. "Requesting parcels" in what sense? Bidding on auctions? (It's not as if they're going to open the swap to folks who don't have commercial adult content to get moved.)

This is a bit like reading a mystery novel with every second page or so missing. Deep Joy I thought about that. If you have backup choices that are not yet assigned, you might want to go back into the ticket and comment with those, in case they're still available when they get around to processing the ticket. I don't know if that's smart or not, nor worth the effort given that there's probably a ton of tickets yet to be processed before a 10:12 timestamp. On the plus side, it might increase chances of getting what you want from the stuff remaining on current Zindra. But maybe, as Sindy has hoped, there could be a "second round" where they open up more sims and let us have another chance to find something better than whatever remains when they get to first-try tickets.

Ticket confirmed at 10:06 am- no e-mail, still shows as "new" on the support portal, one of my choices has been taken (I submitted ten though- why wait for them to *tell* me that all my first three choices are gone when I *know* it will happen? , but so far, so good on the rest (although two of them are being camped on by folks who are ahead of me in line.). I'll keep folks posted on developments ^V^

More proof of unfair things.....

Taken straight from .... http://www.slapt.me/wiki/index.php/Governance_Team_ActionsFrom: someone 4051-6484223 29/6/2009 10:01 AM PDT (New) 4051-6484226 29/6/2009 10:02 AM PDT (New) 4051-6484233 29/6/2009 10:02 AM PDT (New) 4051-6484237 29/6/2009 10:03 AM PDT (New) 4051-6484260 29/6/2009 10:04 AM PDT (New) 4051-6484268 29/6/2009 10:04 AM PDT (2 hours to complete) I don't have exact times, since I borrowed a friend's computer to be able to submit at the deadline, but this is the approximate story of this ticket: I made a mistake when submitting the ticket as I copied and pasted from a prepared document: instead of putting in our old SLURLs, I put in plain "v" instead of doing a "ctrl-v" paste. Approximately half an hour after submitting the ticket, I got contacted by Socrates Linden, asking about the missing SLURLs. When I supplied them, he showed up at that location, examining the content there, and asking a few questions about it, spending about ten minutes examining our old location. About another half hour after that, he asked why we had submitted just regions instead of parcels in our wish list. I quoted the FAQ from the Linden Blog, where it said you could give approximate wishes instead of concrete parcels. It was quite obvious from the delays in the conversation that he was working several tickets in parallell, but he was always courteous and answered all our questions with great patience. I and my associate ported to look at our first-hand and second-hand choices. We found him there busy re-parcelling our second-hand choice, but it would still not give enough sq meter to be a full trade in with what we had. He then reparcelled our first-hand choice, and remarked that it while it was even smaller, perhaps it was ok for us if we got all available land in it, plus a good-sized piece of a neighbour region. We were overjoyed by that offer, and accepted gladly. He then reparcelled both sims, making sure that the trade was even. After that, he walked through all parts of the trade with us in IM, and made sure we understood everything we had to do. We were finally able to buy our new land ( http://slurl.com/secondlife/Farside/) at appx 12 PM, two hours after submitting the ticket. We then promptly started to put up our new store there. We were most happy with how we were treated by Socrates Linden, and said so to him, thanking him greatly. He showed great service-mindedness and patience in what must have been a stressful situation for him. And no, we do not have any special contacts with Linden Labs, or any reason to ask for preferred treatment. --Tuft 07:23, 30 June 2009 (UTC) 4051-6484291 29/6/2009 10.05 AM PDT (New) 4051-6484298 29/6/2009 10:05 AM PDT (New) 4051-6484300 29/6/2009 10:06 am PDT (New) 4051-6484451 29/6/2009 10:09 AM PDT (New) 4051-6484459 29/6/2009 10:10 AM PDT (New) 4051-6484473 29/6/2009 10:11 AM PDT (New) 4051-6484481 29/6/2009 10:12 AM PDT (New) 4051-6484496 29/6/2009 10:13 AM PDT (New) 4051-6484546 29/6/2009 10:16 AM PDT (New) 4051-6484560 29/6/2009 10:17 AM PDT (New) 4051-6484601 29/6/2009 10:19 AM PDT (New) 4051-6484649 29/6/2009 10:26 AM PDT (New) 4051-6484685 29/6/2009 10:34 AM PDT (New) 4051-6484704 29/6/2009 10:36 AM PDT (New) I want a LINDEN to comment on WHY this is happening. 14+ Hours of waiting for a ticket filed at 10:03 for a FULL sim PLUS a parcel is 100% UNACCEPTABLE.

Lias, I would LOVE for you to pull that on me. (IF you would pull your head up and answer if you said this or not. Im guessing you will never admit to it nor deny it) But if you did, or whoever did say it...I'd slap you with a lawsuit quicker then you could blink for defamation of character not only in a virtual world, but in the real world as well, as the publicity you would hope to raise, would definately effect anyones real life falsely and cause grief and public embarrassment falsely.
Reporting false offenses is against the law. Its also entrapment.
So before you jump and click, you better make darn sure you know exactly what your doing and what your talking about because that is one battle Id take to the highest court if need be.
Im just say'n.
and that is ALL im going to say in this thread. Im with you Des.....Abby out.

Matthew Terms updates appear at the login screen (one of those click to agree deals), email isn't the normal way for them to do that.

Content is BDSM mall & club. -- Xia Nishi It plainly said FIRST COME FIRST SERVED. We have PROOF this is NOT happening. Its not particular order, people that filed AFTER we did have land... and 15 hours later... we still wait. Something has GOT to give. 300 tickets in the first 10 minutes, 30 tickets a minute, if 10 people working on this at a time, 3 each per minute. If it takes roughly 20 minutes per ticket.....and i was in that first 10 minutes....I was in the first THREE minutes....It simply DOES NOT add up.

I'm 34 minutes I'm expecting a few days. That this is obviously happening isn't right, nor is the lack of ads from SL about it to the SL users and nor is the fact that all mature parcel owners are going to keep the ratings they have paid for. That mot many knew to apply and then a lot of them didn't get land will make LL's 3% look true. Hopefully some new game will turn up soon or a precedent in court granting realistic rights re financial investment in these kind of online scenarios will happen. Hang in there though, it might be ok too

The Linden assisting us with our land swap spent a lot more than 20 minutes with us - more like an hour. Also, I now note that while the ticket I wrote about on the Slapt Wiki was submitted at 10.04, I accidentaly made one under the wrong heading at 9.59 (4051-6484166). What happened was that I kept reloading the page as the clock approached 10, and then the subjects in the dropdown box changed... "What, nothing about Zindra? - no, wait, there is a new 'Custom Ticket' heading - that must be it". So I submitted a "Custom Ticket" at 9.59, and then after that, I found that the migration was actually buried lower down in the options, and submitted a second ticket. It might be that my 9.59 ticket got assigned for that time, but that the Linden responsible also saw my 10.04, and decided to book the work on that ticket instead. Just a possible theory... seeing that other 10.04 took 11 hours plus and counting.

What i don't get is... i need a FULL SIM. its a straight full sim for full sim, then an additional 6112 from another region in addition.. that's not a hard transfer. I found a full sim i want, that's divided into 2 1/2 sims, joing that and setting it to sell for me is a 5 minute deal... and i been waiting sine 10:03am yesterday. They told me repeatedly that they couldn't BUMP tickets or pull them out of order... so...Someone explain it.

So far it has taken them 13 hours to process the first 3 minutes of tickets (approx 30 tickets completed, or 5% of the initial rush). The queue will continue to grow until the rate of ticket submission gets below the rate of ticket processing, and new tickets are open for three weeks. I would not be at all surprised to see a two week backlog for people who did not get in by the initial rush. This makes the total Zindra "First wave" duration: 3 weeks tickets open + 2 weeks queue depth + 2 weeks move time, so basically end of August to see what a full Zindra looks like. If people who submitted tickets later than the first 36 minutes could post to the tracking page, that will help us know how this is going along. http://www.slapt.me/wiki/index.php/Governance_Team_Actionshttp://www.slapt.me/wiki/index.php/Governance_Team_Actions

I don't think there was ever any intent that LL would try to match the swapped parcels on anything other than size. That would be pretty hopeless because LL has no practical way to know what specific features of a parcel are most important to the owner: boundary shape? terrain? ability to terraform? prim bonus factor? proximity to water? to roads? etc., etc. From: someone Most frustrating thing is because my ticket still has not been touched I don't evev know if there are problems with it - if I need to stick at the computer to answer questions... etc Definitely.
