There is no shame in asking for help if you have not yet gained a piece of knowledge. Whining, crying and general elitism very quickly draws the attention of the humorists and derailers.

I have to say too, that a thread is rarely throttled before the question is answered unless it is an obvious troll or just a ridiculous question. Sometimes the answer isn't know for a while, so admittedly that gives rise to nonsense, but hey, it keeps the thread bumped up. In the end, this isn't the UN General Assembly here folks. It gets a little silly, sometimes a bit contentious, but most questions are answered, and no one gets hurt. Let's all lighten up.

Frankly, I think the "nonsense" is the true genius of this forum. You get flame and counter-flame, troll and counter-troll, Idiotlogue and counter-idiotlogue (you know what I am talking about!). But then sensible (or at least easily bored) people come in with pie and panties and non seuqitur url links and other assorted gentle ridicule and they get laughed off the stage. This is a good thing.
