LOL actually no Im not complaining at all Im cacking myself. Its hilarious to see so many people take it all so seriously. Seems the only ones complaining are the ones who actually do dress in that 'nasty' way and cant deal with the fact that others perceive it as cheap looking. Theres a great song by "Destinys Child", its called Nasty girl. A least they get it lol.

You really sound slightly defensive. Why are you asking how subtle you should be? Be what you want. Thats what SL is for is it not? Noone has at any point in this thread dictated what other people should wear. Ive merely commented on what some might call, the unimaginative look, that many AVs seem to conform to.
Yes Carli, as you can see by my shop Im no prude and its no secret. In fact, yes Ive chosen to dedicate a section of my shop to the sexual needs of AVs which I usually get a lot of compliments about being as its done quite artistically and tastefully. You cant escape the fact that everywhere you go in SL there are scantily clad women dressed in a cheap and tawdry manner(apparently women but nobody really knows, they appear to be more like men projecting their own fantasies of how they want women to be). Ps- does anyone question whether Paris Hilton or Pamela Anderson look cheap? No, everyone just accepts it as a fact. Why? Probably mainly because the way they dress in Public. Whether they really are or not is irrelevant, thats the image they project.

I hate the slutty look personally. My avi never wears slutty clothes. Ballgowns ( I dance a lot) trousers, but never mini skirts or silks.

I have no problem with how anyone wants to look here, just prefer not to look like a whore myself.

Some of the muscle bound men are delightful to look at, but then they chat and just want a quick easy lay, not for me in afraid.

Its all a matter of why people are here, for many its sex, so they look the part. Just accept it, its there Second Life after all!

I have just been accepted as a model for aDiva, cant look slutty for that as these are high class clothes, a bit like Vindi Vindaloo.

um.... were exactly have you been going then? One of my regular hang outs is a SEX CLUB and ((discounting newbies)) people don't dress 'slutty'. Now you can get some good old tribal wear, silks and rubber ever so often but you get as many people in jeans and a T or knee lenth dresses. YOu have people that come in wearing full ball gowns to tentical monsters. The reqular thing is though when people aren't dancing they were 'normal' cloths or maybe just a little bit skimpy. And the guys ((out side of newbies)) don't have stuff hanging out or walk around in chaps or shirtless. Now let me repeat. People in normal every day cloths to full ball gowns are coming to a SEX CLUB in cloths that aren't slutty. Sure we all put on our skimpy stuff when we get up to dance but if you are a reqular then realy you can't impress somone by having stuff hanging out. But we are also almsot all un abashed sluts ((some aren't. some dont' even do sl sex)). We like sex on sl. It is fun and harmless and mental entertaining if you are doing it right. If if you think I am jsut a sex fiend look me up in nwn or last years burning life.

Sorry I hate to break it to you girls, but most of us guys really don't find flowers, floral curtains, & dresses exciting.

Low neckline? For some women it looks awesome and isn't slutty at all.

Think Pamela Anderson and Paris Hilton. They are the epitomy of the modern day "slutty" look. They dont look stylish and they dont look classy. They just look like cheap white trash, well at least in the pictures in the magazines etc. Another tragedy would have to be 'lil' Kim, now she is nasty LOL.

I strongly disagree with you about tattoos.... I have seen some great ones and I have 2 smaller ones myself. Not visible when I am dressed for work. But in bikini or bathsuit they will show.
