It's warm today! Maybe I'll take the dogs out to a lake to go swimming...

BTW FD - per the pic, you look like you might have been quite wild at 18.

:D

Oh yes I was very, very wild and very much a free spirit back then I have mellowed out with age.
I have few images of me though with my face shown left.
The naughtier ones I tore up and threw away or were lost.
I have something I keep trying to hunt down of me in video and another with nothing but black lace and lipstick on but no clue where it is.

I bet they love that. Aren't dogs great? We have a dog beach and a dog park near here and everytime I go by all the dogs look so happy to be there.

Yes the water is refreshing.
Thank you for sharing it.
Me wishes I was there.
Kaimi, I wanted to be model but never was confident enough but did do some adult related modeling during that time for friends.

I can see you're quite photogenic. That self confidence thing is a tough one, isn't it? I have it in spades when it comes to socializing with anyone. But for getting hired, not so much.

Confidence is always something I have run short on in every area of my life since I could remember.
Part of reason why I never pursued certain things, especially my writing career even though I was published once, when I got call back to contribute again from the San Fransisco publisher and rejected it after that I never tried again.
I have always envied bit those who seem to have it abundance.

I know how that feels. Ironically it seems that the ability to not be bothered by rejection and failure is a key trait that all successful people must have.
But sometimes we get so afraid of disappointment that we'd rather not even hope...
I kind of got lucky when I was quite young and I realized that everyone else is more worried about what other people think about them than they are about judging me. I even had a job on a short lived local tv show back in the 70's. I had a lot of confidence on camera just because I pretended I did and everyone including me believed it. Everyone was pretty complimentary about my work but I never could get up the nerve to try and pursue that career. I guess it's asking for a chance I was scared of.

FD, they say writers have to collect a lot of rejection slips before they ever sell anything. You're always reading about how many different authors got before they sold their subsequently best selling first book. Maybe you owe it to yourself to start submitting your work again. You have nothing to lose...
Well I know it isn't that easy. Just saying...

I may take another risk at it, just bit rusty not even sure where to get started.
There is also now options for self publishing that didn't exist over 10 years ago.
I really don't need the agents and publishers like writers use too but self promotion skills are requirement or ability to do websites, drawn attention and traffic is necessary skill not including the cost of starting that is bit daunting.

Hey everybody! We are still working on our new sandbox. I wiped the old sim last night and got 8 set up today. Unfortunately that made it where wifey could not log in so I am back down to 1. lol.

Just to show you her priorities VS. Mine:

Right after she logged in today she started building a house:

Annnnnnnnd I of course griefed our own sim. :D

I hope everyone is having/had a great weekend. I hope you are all staying out of trouble!

And Strife.. thanks for going above and beyond yet again. :)

*runs back to the sim to play with scripts*

I was pondering that too I have met lot of extremely confident to almost arrogant people yes they get high paid or desired professions but then they often do only minimum they are required or less in some cases yet no one seems to question the lack of ethics about this....

Strange irony I think.

The most talented people I know are often unseen, work incredibly hard, rarely noticed and often very hard on their own work. I am especially aware of this in Second Life.

If I tilt just a little to the right and move my arm just so I can sleep pretty well there. :o

How are you doing?

And FD.. yes.. it is LOTS of fun. It is like being in SL for my very first time again (except with more knowledge). Having to deal with the stock hair, etc lol.

No lag and I think I found a program at slexchage called Second Inventory that will let us make stuff on our sim and then import it into Second Life.

You can make a lot of cool stuff with 45000 prims open I bet. :D

Back to playing..

I wish I could figure out how to do that with my computer what you're doing.
I can make lot of things I like to test there on my home computer without being online but not really able to figure out the technically way to do it off line.

That sounds like fun! Let us know if the import to SL thing works, ok?.
