Hey everybody! We are still working on our new sandbox. I wiped the old sim last night and got 8 set up today. Unfortunately that made it where wifey could not log in so I am back down to 1. lol. Just to show you her priorities VS. Mine: Right after she logged in today she started building a house:  Annnnnnnnd I of course griefed our own sim.   I hope everyone is having/had a great weekend. I hope you are all staying out of trouble! And Strife.. thanks for going above and beyond yet again.  *runs back to the sim to play with scripts* Who...me? Stay out of trouble? Whatever do you mean??? Mac, you need some of those spinning thingies if you're going to be a world class griefer.... |

You need to make them shout and stuff too. I swear, if I owned my own sim in the main grid, my poor tenants would hate me. I'd loose tornadoes and snowstorms and if I could find some, a rogue wave or two that would all randomly move houses around. I guess at that rate, I wouldn't have many tenants...  _____________________

I wish I could figure out how to do that with my computer what you're doing. I can make lot of things I like to test there on my home computer without being online but not really able to figure out the technically way to do it off line. I am not a uber techie at all, but I found it not too hard to put together. That sounds like fun! Let us know if the import to SL thing works, ok?. Joshua Nightshade over on SLU says he has it working fine. He has imported his creations from the SL grid to the OpenSim one. Even animations, scripts, etc. I guess anything you have full perms on can be moved. To move stuff back you have to attatch it to yourself for now.. but the makers of Second Inventory say they have something in beta that will bypass having to do that in the near future. It is nice to upload textures at the speed of light and all for free. Also no worries about copyright if you use a picture from a movie or something. It is only on your own PC. It could be fun just to make one to destroy. lol I have never been a griefer but now that I can play with the toys on my own region and not hurt anyone else it could be fun. |

I plan to have a blast as soon as I figure it all out. Not all script calls works there yet. But I did get that particle generator and mod it to go nuts. Then I just started randomly dropping them all over. I was gonna find that Jell-owned texture for the pic. |

One last post on the OpenSim stuff.
FD and anyone that may like to try an easier to install version should try OpenLife. I installed it but I can't seem to stay connected to my region. I spawn.. try to rez an object and freeze then red map. I am going to try installing it again just to see if it was something on my end. Anyway.. if it works for you it is WAY easier: http://openlifegrid.com/LearningCenter/StandaloneWiki/tabid/138/Default.aspx Edited to change link above to a much easier to follow page. With OpenLife there is no configuration needed to set up a stand alone sim. You can also connect to the OpenLife grid which looks pretty cool from the little bit of time I spent there. |

My friend shared some of her hand painted fractual clothes and I did several recolors I am playing with the fushia version of it. I am going to do informal fashion show on second Wednesday of July sometime. I don't know though if I am as yourself and some other designers but its fun for me. Wanna see? _____________________

I am wearing Hunter Stern's scarlet wings he makes really incredibly beautiful things, This was some freebies I had almost forgotten I had. It is based on my friend's hand drawn fractual and drawn design she shared with me Auroraskye that I share a shop with in Etopia Prime. I don't know though if we will continue being in same location soon though. This isn't for sell it just for fun.  _____________________
