At work, there is an older lady (57) who smokes 2 packs of cigs/day.... she had a heart ablation 10 DAYS AGO and is back at work. She doesn't NEED to be at work; she just is because she goes crazy sitting at home, so she says. Anyway, today I came upon her sitting on the floor (!) and asking me for a wet rag because she was too hot. I called a Code Blue which means to call an ambulance and the First Responders... while we were waiting for the ambulance, Nancy's eyes roll up into her head, she vomits out her false teeth, and she goes into a stroke/seizure thingy. I was terrified and for the first real time in my life I realized MORTALITY, and, for some strange reason, I wanted to grab the damned thing by the throat and shake it, and force it away. And so now I'm drunk and venting and traumatized. Thanks all for listening.

hopefully my very evil sister! and i'm not exxagerrating that she's evil, or that i hope she dies. LOL

glad you are fine, Tedd. i have a headache problem too. so far, my insurance refuses to cover an MRI. sometimes i get scared.

NEED takes on a different meaning at a Flea Market. For some reason anything that catches your eye is usually a fun or cool enough item or such a terrific price, that it immediately becomes a *needed* item.

Well, that is how Flea Markets were when I was much younger. Now the primary one here looks more like a street in Singapore. I do not go near as often now because it just isn't as much fun. Instead, I sometimes spend a Sat or Sun morning going to Yard Sales instead.

Good morning/afternoon everyone.

Yesterday my priority was getting the computer connected and getting proper firewall/virus software installed and then just playing in SL since it had been a couple of weeks since that was much fun due to performance.

Today, I am working on installing the rest of my desired software and getting thing configured how I like them. I had forgotten how much other stuff I had installed on the computer and how long it takes to get everything installed and set up the way I want. Some things I can migrate profile/prefs from the old computer since I have the hard drive from that one in this one, but it is still a lot of work and very time consuming.
